The jags are what the raiders were last year...fool's gold. Six months without NFL action can have an effect on a team. Ask Carolina and Atlanta. And crazy things happen Zeke missed six games which cost Dallas the playoffs(which we knew something was going to happen to keep them out). Don't think Fournette could not have a DUI this offseason or get involved in some scandal. Ramsey could have a season-ending injury. Even if Luck does not come back, DeSean Watson was playing out of his mind until he went down and I guess we will see if Jacksonville can slow that down. This jags defense did get lit up by Jimmy Garropolo week 16. Defenses don't play that stout back to back historically either.
any team with that D is not fools gold, they are in the afc championship, how are they fools gold,. Your coming up with hypotheticals............

Well sure, I explained a few years back that such a high level of defense has never been sustainable, and even when it remained just pretty good, the drop-off is severe. The Broncos are a continuing example of that, and are a cautionary tale to teams built primarily on defense. The thing is it won't be hard for the Jags to upgrade at QB this year if they really want to by a significant margin whereas the Broncos... drafted Paxton Lynch and started Siemian.

The Raiders were never that good to begin with (see 1 score games, unsustainable 4QCB's) so I don't see the Raiders as a legit comparison here. Broncos make more sense.

Lol so then what do you suggest the Steelers do, kid? Force ben out of town if he doesn't want to retire?

By the way he threw for over 400 yards and four or five touchdowns? Right up there with AB as the only reasons they were even in the game at all given the defense...and of course he's the problem according to you. But the fact that you think a 45-42 loss to by far the best d in the league is reason to give up on ben is so you!

How does Big Ben feel about the loss? Is he gonna retire this time?

Trust me. Jacksonville will not make the playoffs next year, and Pittsburgh if they win the division again will lose again when it matters.

And yes the saints lost thanks primarily to our idiotic HC.

I would certainly not feel great about the Jags if they went in with Bortles.

First of all after the game ben said he was looking forward to being back in the playoffs next year.

Second of all you said if everyone else wants to watch Ben lose in the playoffs again, and unless you're even dimmer than I thought that actually implies you think other people will force him out or have a reason to want to.

I really don't know where you get these ideas in your head!

Think we're going to see some big changes in Pittsburgh this off-season. Wouldn't surprise me if Bell leaves.
He doesn't want the Franchise tag.

If you think Big Ben is better than Drew, you're crazy. Big Ben plays in the less competitive AFC.

Less competitive? They have better head to head records 17 out of the last 22 years. NFC is better this year, but be real

If Jax made the playoffs with a sub par QB, just imagine if they add an average to slightly above average QB in the off season. They could run that division for a while.

People said the same thing about Brees in 2006.

given by the fact that luck is going all over the world seeking "alternative treatments" for his shoulder, i'm guessing his injury has been a wee-bit more severe than what brees had to deal with. also, the '06 saints had a much more complete and competitive roster, than will the '18 colts

for some reason, he's thinking the ravens will of a sudden become a juggernaut and the jaguars will fold into obscurity, without anything to really back that up. odd.

lol "trust me" he says

if anything, the jags defense will be even more dominant next season, they may end up only losing 2-3 games all regular season, assuming their offense doesn't completely bottom out, which I seriously doubt happens. remember, they've been missing their #1 receiver all season long. trust me on this.

Why should I? Pittsburgh is losing to a inexperienced team. The jags are going to get killed next week. There is no way they are beating NE or even making it close. The steelers are burnt out. They got down 21-0 and turned the ball over for two scores, which is why they are going home.

The Steelers got their butts kicked...period.

That said, I'm not getting your point...."move over", "LET".

Are you seriously bringing the NFL down to..."let" everyone have a chance?

The MJ lead Chicago Bulls kept getting stonewalled in the playoffs by BOS and after DET...they couldn't get out of the east. What if they just threw in the towel?

Maybe I misunderstood what you meant.
