59-103 if Fulmer is fully healthy.

52-110 if not.

Don't be so pessimistic. Maybe they'll reach 60.

There's an outside shot at avoiding 100 losses, but it requires Daniel Norris and/or Matt Boyd to surprise us and have more consistent starts.

The Tigers marketing team is already pushing on social media that 2018 is the 50th anniversary of the '68 World Series title, and that there will be promotions/player appearances throughout the year.

Trying desperately to come up with reasons for fans to go to the CoPa. Like I said on the old board, the ticket/hot dog/soda/foam finger combo packages won't be far behind.

I'll go to a game or two just because it's a fun time in the summer. Won't really care about the play on the field, I expect it to be awful lol.

#3 gets retired in August.

I went the first time Morris pitched against us. First timeI remember metal detectors.

JVs first game back might see ticket prices jacked all the way back up to normal.

Candelaria might be worth the price of admission a couple times.

I honestly like going to games when we suck. Only real fans are there.

Interesting article over at mlb.com, showing the steadiest starting pitchers through three lineup cycles. Michael Fulmer made the top ten. In fact, among the pitchers on the list, only Kyle Hendricks had a lower weighted OBA than Fulmer the third time through a batting order.

MLB starters who maintain production late

Tigers set the baseball world on its head by announcing that the have claimed 25 year old righty, Johnny Barbato from the Pirates. Barbato pitched briefly with the Yankees in 2016 and appeared in 23 games for the Pirates last year. His stats are not pretty and control seems to be an issue...but Johnny stated that he loves Toledo in the summer time.

Got the email the other day, I need to buy tix to four or five games in order to buy tix for the retirement game.

Lol

I'll walk up and get tickets for $5 the day of. The marketing department is going to need to rethink things when they don't even have a product to sell.

Tigers avoided arbitration with James McCann ($2.375 mill) last week, and now with Jose Iglesias ($6.275 ,mill). Iglesias may be July deadline fodder for a team desperate for SS help.

Castellanos ($6.05 mill), Shane Greene ($1.95 mill) and Alex Wilson ($1.925 mill) were all signed to one-year deals, too, avoiding arbitration.

Al Avila has supposedly let it be known that he will listen to trade proposals involving Castellanos, as he has only one more year being under team control. Nick had solid numbers last year (26 HR, 101 RBI, 10 triples), but not sure there's a ton of interest for corner outfielders holding those stats -- especially weak-fielding corner outfielders.
