Elliot in my mind is our MVP i hope we dont see Nuevy in net until his contract runs out.

I'm good with that as long as he can keep the pace, also love how he didn't melt down after he let in the stupid goal. He buckled down solid.

Stay in the fucking net though, for real. He is playing far too well to be wandering all over the ice while trying to help out his defense. I am just not a fan of our goalie attempting to play the puck unless it will more than likely prevent a breakaway. Otherwise, stay put and our team defense will handle it, because we're playing pretty decently in that area right now.

Neither of our goalies are really known for their ability to play the puck well anyway. Besides, it seems like pucks bounce oddly off the glass or boards far too often and when that happens, suddenly our net is empty. Don't worry, Elliott, guys like Gudas, Provorov, Hagg and even MacDonald have got this.

Amazingly, we are only the 3rd team in Nhl history to lose 10 straight and immediately follow that up by winning 6 or more straight.

Glad we finally ended that one on the power play too, because we had squandered three opportunities in a row up until that point. It doesn't matter that Dallas got the point either obviously.

Really nice to see Ghost kick things into a higher gear with a couple of power play goals and I thought our team defense was pretty stellar all over the ice. I don't know what else to say really, but this team is clutch now all of the sudden. We are just believing that we are going to win each and every game, whereas before it was probably the opposite. Something was always going to go wrong. Right now, we're money when it matters most. That and Brian Elliott continues to see the puck like it's a beach ball.

This is really a team effort right now through and through for each and every game. The centers are all winning faceoffs. Voracek is just dishing that puck all over the place for goals. Simmonds still maybe looks a touch off, but the top line is continuing on with Giroux/Couturier. The 4th line is flying all over the place and generating offense too. Hell, even Dale Weise is looking decent at times. Minus a rookie mistake or two from Sanheim, our defensemen are pretty rock solid in our own end and making wise decisions at the other end too. We seem to have a big, physical, lockdown defender and a speedy, offensive defender in each pairing too. Provorov is both of those all in one by the way.

This should be a serious challenge tomorrow night. The Kings are 10-5-2 on the road and have the lowest team goals against in the entire Nhl, plus the best penalty kill. We won't win this one with special teams alone. It's going to be a real grind.

Do you still want the coach fired Awaz? Personally I think this up and down play has to do with the youth in the lineup and the NHL in general is up and down. Getting a few vets back has helped stabilize the youngsters they don't panic as much in close games now.

Kings are good but beatable. They're playing the same defensive style but have less scoring than during their cup runs.

I still don't love him. But I will say, since he broke up the top line he's been pushing the right buttons. The lines as they are make good sense, the TOI splits, even if they're frustrating for the younger guys, are smart. I'm not going to say when the team sucks its on the coach and when they're good it's because of the players, they both play a factor in both!

Just to put this into perspective Scott Laughton had a 101 points in 64 games in the OHL

Thanks for your honest answer and I understand that you don't like the coaches for various reasons neither do I but it shows how complicated it can be. A lot of moving parts and if you always blame the coaches you'd be changing them like boxers. I think once injuries are back all changes tried and they still stink then you have to consider it. Maybe even a small trade.

I'll go 2-1 Flyers over Kings.
