Not sure how you gleaned that from what I wrote. On the fence really. Yes there was contact and the conditions were slick and I could see the contact causing DCL to slip... Do I call that at Anfield if I'm the ref? Probably not.

We were tactical garbage for most of the game and sat on our heels and prayed they wouldn't score. About the 70th minute we picked it up a bit, drew this penalty and a corner or two. Got our goal and then pretty much parked it again...

No, we didn't deserve a point yesterday.

Wasn't doing that at all. Just was asking your opinion as you're an Everton fan.

Anyway, check this out. Heated debate about the penalty on espnfc. Love these guys. Best soccer show in the US imo

It's defo a penalty, soft or not. Like Steve Nichol said, no reason he should have his hands on him at all.

If you like this show (I do like Steve Nichol and Shaka Hislop), you should download and listen to the BBC ^0^ call in show, they do it every Saturday and Sunday. Also BBC Five Live has some good shows..

Big afternoon games. Liverpool and Arsenal drop points. Spurs got past BHA to leapfrog from 7th into 4th.

Unless you are a Citeh fan, this year is a snoozefest.

The league is already wrapped up and it's not even Christmas. At least it's shaping up for a good relegation battle.

So true. I thought the Spurs would make some noise today but they got hammered. De Bruyne was a beast today. Only injuries can slow them down now. Probably the best team in the world as of today.

Yeah very disappointing. No fun at all.

One thing I hate about the ESPNFC guys is they bash Man United non stop. You would think United is in 9th place or something. They are not Man City but they're 2nd in the table halfway into the season

To add on to my point, last year at the same point they would have been 5 points behind the leaders if they had 41 points through 18 games as they do this year.

Also 8 more points than they had at this point last year. The bashing ESPN does of this team because they're not Man City is pretty lame

Hmmm, if Everton wins today, we get the joy of giving the finger to Marco Silva and Watford on our way past them in the standings...

...So we have that at least. :D

Brutal game saturday. City was better in every aspect of the game...embarrassing really.

I don't think Spurs are that bad, but maybe City is just that good this year.

Okay, forgive me I know it is just talk but I'm geeked about this one...

Everton and Allardyce targeting Benteke in the January window... Allardyce eyes reunion with Palace star as he battles Arsenal over N'Zonzi

This is a guy I've been wanting us to go after for a few years now... Funny thing is that I just completed the tranfer for him on FIFA '18 last night and was just humoring myself by doing a google search on Everton link to Benteke and BOOM!!!

Lots of hits dated yesterday!

Good game today. Past Watford now. Watford is fading now a bit. Teams at the bottom have picked up some points recently. Palace all of sudden looks better. Laid a beat down on Leiceister this weeked which really surprised me.

Pretty sick that Burnley is 2 points out of a CL spot 18 games into the season

Exactly what i meant when i said espn are slamming united like they're some mid table team. 2nd in the league. Most points at this point since winning the league in 2012 and there are still articles like this

United going nowhere fast under Mourinho

LOL. United just coughed up a Cup game to Bristol City? And they out of that tournament.

Yeah saw it on my phone. None of the top teams take that tournament seriously but still not a good look.

Did they throw out a B or C team for the game?

I had noticed that too. Appeared some players were out. Pogba played, Ibrahimavich started and scored. Why do they even have it?
