Yeah, Melo is toast as a starter and #1 option. He should swallow his pride like D-Wade did. He could be OKC's #1 bench option.

PG being lost is why I think they would be more effective with him starting the offense instead of Westbrook. Problem is, Westbrook would never allow it.

I think Abrines should start over Roberson too. They are too easy to guard when Roberson is on the court. I think he is a good player, but he just doesn't fit Russ.

I disagree, they aren’t nearly the team on defense without him on the floor. He gives everyone he guards a real tough time. Honestly they should have plenty of offense with him on the floor.

But they don't.

They don't move the ball at all, and an ISO offense is pretty easy to guard when there is a guy out there you can permanently help off of.

Same old story play good enough to have an 11 pt lead with 5 minutes left then just stand around and take turns at iso ball, no passing whatsoever. I’m sick of this shit, got better things to do.

Any coach that would allow that should be fired after the game.

I'm sure my buddy @tlance agree with this tweet

I wouldn't quite go that far, but their offense will always struggle with him on the court. I like Roberson, but damn he is brutal offensively.

OKC winners in 6 of 8. Should really be on a 8 game winning streak. The 2 losses came in Mexico vs Brooklyn and at home vs Charlotte.

Has not been pretty though. They are far from resembling a contender at this point.

Great points....not

Sometimes it takes awhile for new players to adjust to a new team, but i have no doubts they will be much better by the end of the season...We already saw glimpses of what they can be...

Glimpses....

They've given us the cliff notes version of why they can be contenders.

And, went straight up Great expectations, War and peace on why they're not.

Do I expect this to change?

Yes.

But, we have to remember none of those guys are Lebron.

Can't expect them to follow the Heatles vol. 1 path.

I'm starting think that they are just who they are what we are seeing is going to be the way it is for the most part.

I think they'll win more than they lose just off of talent. But I'm starting to think these guys are never going to live up to the talent they have.

By now, I would think we would see more than glimpses of what they could be. It took 17 games for the Heat. Granted, that was with Lebron. But, we are at what? Game 26? 27? and these guys still don't look like they have figured much out.

They're starting to remind me of the Kobe/Dwight/Nash Lakers, only they don't have the injury to Nash to blame it on.

No.

They will get better, yes. But they aren't beating GS or Houston.

It is more than just getting familiar with one another. They will have to change the way they play. None of them have games that lend to being complimentary pieces alongside a ball dominant PG.

Yes, they will get better, but they won't get good enough. That I will bet on.

The Thunder don’t have a single player worthy of being an all star right now.

In the playoffs tho it often comes down to sheer talent...Should be interesting to see how they play...

I will give you that on the star level PG is iffy but he impressed me last year in the playoffs....And Melo is a wildcard(who i think is a massive underachieving bum) who doesn't even care about winning, but we shall see if he proves anyone wrong this year in the playoffs.

Westbrook is a superstar
