Happy 83rd birthday to the 6th oldest living HOFer, Al Kaline. Needed 28 more hits and 1 more HR to be just the 4th player with 3000 hits, 400 HRs, and a batting average over .300. Stan Musial, Hank Aaron, and Willie Mays are the only 3 to have done it. Pujols is 32 hits away from that, unless he plays long enough to drag his BA under .300 (he's at .305 now). Miguel Cabrera also has a shot, he's 364 hits away from 3000 and has a .317 career average.
