Top recruit Marquis Spiker headlines Huskies’ highly rated wide receiver class
Quite a few official visits this weekend including the highest rated recruit Petersen has EVER had on a verbal. Both receivers coming up this week plan to sign next Wednesday during the new early signing period. Sirmon is already drooling over having those targets.

They are already planning their TD celebrations ffs lol. These kids can't wait to get after it at Montlake.

We all know they have been stacking it hard at RB and the upcoming class through the air has some serious promise.

Bonus, Sirmon has a couple of brothers that play football and will be coming up through Bothell high. At least one of them is also a QB. Is this the next Huard family?

Word coming out of another commit tonight. We have an official 'woof', but so far just speculation that it's Brandon Kaho, LB from Reno. If that's true that's a HUGE get. He was a soft commit to BYU a year ago and has offers from USC and Bama if that tells you what the big boys think of this kid.

That should move UW up past the ducks in class ranking and they probably aren't done yet.

Meanwhile the ducks were fucking horrible in their bowl game and will probably be losing their DC by Monday and likely a few more of their class goes poof.

Ok, so this isn't just a verbal, he's actually signing at his high school Wednesday morning at 11:15.

He's fully a dawg now.

Wonder how many of our kids will take that new early signing period. I'm guessing a high number of them. We know Sirmon is for sure and I think I read the two big receivers are.

Coaches will know for sure who they have to watch as possible late flips and can have contingency plans in place to help avoid shit like last year and that flip to USC.

And boy did we end up with massive upgrade scenario at ILB with how this worked out. Remember how originally 3-star Nicholas Bolton was going to be using this position spot for the class. Nice skills, but undersized at 5’11 and one of those guys the Huskies would have needed to do some serious coaching up to make a true starter down the road. We’ll then he proceeds to decommit in Oct because Sumlin was giving him love from Tex A&M.

We’ll Sumlins gone, he’s got no offer from Tex A&M, the bulk of his offers are now Midwest mid majors. Utah and Colorado are the only ones from the PAC who’ve offered, but both seem to have cooled on him.

And a few months later, we end up closing on Brandon Kaho, and he’s announced he will being signing his LOI this week to join the Huskies. One of the top ILB prospects in the country.

Damn....did we come out smelling like Roses with this situation. WOOF!!!

Agreed. But we did just land Brandon Kaho who was considered a heavy lean to Alabama. That’s a significant one right there that everyone considered a lock to Saban. Yep, we just took one from Bama.

Huge get for the program and national perceptions that we can’t compete with the current blue bloods. When we’re competing with the blue blood programs for recruits, we’re in business. Yes, you got to close on them too.
But this class is looking masterful this year. The type of classes that get you Rose bowls.

I said that before he signed though. Yes, this was one of those big takeaway from a blue blood type of players I was talking about. More of those and they are climbing right up into their territory for sure. It takes several classes to get the kind of talent AND depth. They are heading in the right direction on both.
