Really? A better chance? You always have a better chance when he plays. This is why it takes him 1 to 2 qts to get going. This is why he turns the damn ball over when double teamed. His is rhythm is all off

I doubt they are worried of much more than getting into the playoffs this year. They need to cut down on the TO's. I saw Reddick pass twice last week to the Lakers. Embiid seems to lose the ball plenty. They also need to play better D. Sometimes they seem like they are playing good D, and they relapse. I think Fultz will make a difference when he is finally convalesced from his hang nail, or whatever crazy injury they insist he has. I thought he looked pretty darn good for a guy that is 19 yo, and could hardly lift his arm above his shoulder.

Really nice win last night against the TWolves. The Sixers missed RoCo's D as Jimmy Butler had his way all night long, but the Big Man got us over the top! Not sure what was wrong with Simmons last night ... he seemed to be way off his game and not looking to attack much. He didn't even get his first points till the 4th quarter. The turnovers are what's really holding this team back ... not sure how the heck they overcame it last night as they had a season high in that department.

We outrebounded them by 2.
TOs were 24-10 in favor of Minny.
But, if you combine 3PT and FT, we made 14 more than Minny, which kind of offsets the TOs.

If they can figure out how to take better care of the ball, we would be blowing out teams....

it was one thing when they blew some leads to teams that were good, but against shit teams is something else. I knew the early 3 point shooting wasn't sustainable, but to have dropped off to 20th (of not lower after this one) is more of a drop-off than I anticipated. An area you'd hope they'd improve upon as the season progresses, TOs, isn't. Very disappointing stretch.

Not having an answer to Randolph was depressing. I'd say Ben needs to be more aggressive, but I think he's playing well within himself and if the guys hit the wide open 3s he was getting for them, it wouldn't be an issue

It's simply not the same team when Embiid sits and because he's been sitting out frequently they haven't developed that every-game type chemistry when he does play. Every team needs an alpha scorer and Embiid is ours ... take that away and you remove the team's identity. It's starting to look like lottery land again for this team. Hopefully we can incorporate Fultz in the 2nd half of the season as we need another consistent scorer when Embiid sits.

TJ and Bayless scored 11 and 15, but were a -17 and -13.

I really think they need to go with bigger lineups for defensive reasons, then just run PnR with Ben and whichever teammate has the weakest/slowest defender.

Going out on a limb when I say Bayless, Reddick, maybe TLC or McConell won't be here next season. Since Simmons not a scorer, they need more skilled players. Players who aren't Catch n shoot only.

Ok TJ stays. Main reason is because he runs a better point than Simmons right now.

Soooooo, why is Simmons starting and finishing games? He's just a taller Ricky Rubio. Those fancy smancy passes don't mean shit if ur too scare to shoot and get fouled. Simmons will not win rookie of the Year because his stats are fall fast right now. Once they were 18 8 and 8. Now he's gonna finish with 13 to 14, 7 and 6. As u can tell, I'm not feeling great about Simmons right now......

I think it's because he is one of the main building blocks going forward. While winning more games is going to happen and playoffs are a goal, development is still a high priority. He's both a rookie and also still learning how to play the PG position. He doesn't have confidence in his shot, which he needs to work on. TJ only really starting shooting the occasional 3 this year as well (and he still goes mainly with those little pull-ups inside of the foul line). We can give him some time. Also, I don't think he's afraid of getting fouled. I forget which game it was a few weeks back when they were down by 2 and he drove for the final shot, he mentioned he was trying to draw the foul, but he has to focus on not worrying about getting the foul, but hitting the shot.

I haven't been able to watch that many games recently, caught most of todays game (big ups to the basedgod). A huge disparity in FTs yet again. Tough to say how to improve upon that. They get called for some lazy fouls with teams drawing contact, which i though wasn't happening anymore, but I guess they still have their hands in bad positions. They find themselves taking a lot of jump shots, though I find Dario, Ben, and Richaun do draw some decent contact around the hoop a lot and just don't get the calls.

They still struggle with TOs, but I think it's a good learning curve for them to figure out not to do too much, as they do pass the ball more than most teams and their FG to assist ratio is great. Hopefully it comes. Sad that JB going off for that stretch in the 3rd may have been the difference today. Really hope Fultz comes back and can fill that scoring role (potentially coming off the bench as a sixth man/facilitator). You may be worried about Simmons, but I'm worried about that pick being fucked (especially when this was a deep draft). I was willing to give BC the benefit of that doubt, that as long as this was THE guy they wanted to fill out the roster, you do it, but it's not looking good right now and that Lakers pick has the potential for so many great options, if it's 2-5 (i feel like 6 may be where the drop starts, depending on how things fall).

Nice win last night for the Sixers. Nice to see them bounce back from blowing another big lead. Geez can they play 10 straight games together? That's what they need to make a strong playoff push.....

If Saric can play like that more consistently they will win many more games.
