They can clinch a post season birth this weekend with a series of home teams winning across the league.

Here goes...
  • Rams win (-2.5 v Eagles)
  • Bucs win (-1.5 v Lions)
  • Falcons win (+1.5 v Saints)
  • Browns win (+2.5 v Packers)
The least likely to happen is the Browns of course, but all teams are at home, 2 of the 4 are favorites and the two dogs are less than a field goal each....

Be nice to secure a playoff spot by the end of the Rams game on Sunday!

Also, if the Rams win out, they are a Bye team and secure no less than the 2 Seed.

Okay, so I took that at face value from another poster's post on a different thread, according to SeeBS the Rams also need the Panthers to lose too and they are the dog.

Here's the update to the previous scenario for the Rams need to clinch a playoff birth by their games end on Sunday...
  • Rams win (-2.5 v Eagles)
  • Vikings win (-2.5 v Panthers)
  • Bucs win or tie (-1.5 v Lions)
  • Falcons win (+1.5 v Saints)
  • Browns win or tie (+2.5 v Packers)
So it's 3 favorites, 4 home teams, 2 dogs and 1 road team. It looks like a reach but it very likely could happen as only the Browns winning but that too was edited as they can win or tie... I listed those edits for all teams too.

Right, and while we had a similar scenario last week they all are predicated on one thing, we need to win. Had we done that last week, the scenario this week wouldn't be so annoying, and could be like... win and were in.

Hope to have that type of scenario next week!

Also, with Wentz out, there is still a chance for the Rams to get to either the No. 1 or No. 2 seeds, but again, they need to win out, if not we are likely playing in a Wildcard game.

Fact is, the Rams can still be the 4th Seed by only winning the 49ers game, and that is not too unlikely of a scenario with the other teams records from here out....
