I know we blew them all out, but outside of Notre Dame and Auburn, we really didn't play anyone. Miss State with Fitzgerald is a decent team, but we got them hungover and punched them in the mouth early.

We've exceeded my expectations, and this team is well coached(especially at the position level), but that offensive line is still undersized and outside of a couple of freshman with high upside, not very talented. They play hard and they're well coached. That's good enough against lesser teams, but as Auburn showed, doesn't work against elite defensive fronts. Last year's team just had way too many holes to fill in one season.

We're headed in the right direction, but we're not there yet.

I've enjoyed the ride this season, and I hope we at least have a better showing against Auburn next week, but we're not serious natty contenders just yet.

Out of the three teams I picked, I hit one on the head (Alabama 11-1) & missed the other two by one game each: picked Troy at 9-3 (they finished 10-2); picked Clemson 10-2 (they finished 11-1). Not too shabby, if I do say so myself.

was off by a game (I had 9-3). Thought it would be a rebuilding year with the changeover in defense and wide receivers, though the defense was still very good. Can't wait to see what they can do next year, hopefully Winovich will return. Hurst is going to be very tough to replace though.
