I don't know much about him other than he was the assistant AD for Mike Hamilton. That alone should be alarming but who knows.

So, the UT PTBs insist on an AD with P5 experience. They pass on the very popular Blackburn and hire Currie. Despite Currie's association with "Hurricane" Hamilton, we try to give him the benefit of the doubt. The firing of Butch and the search for a new coach became a "butt out the bus window" embarrassment. Beverly Davenport (who vocally expressed the P5 experience prerequisite) relieves Currie of his duties and appoints Fulmer in what's unmistakably a damage control move.

Among experienced and accomplished coaches, who would want the UT job, now?

To quote Princess Leia, "I have a bad feeling about this."

At this point Tee Martin is the choice that will placate the most UT fans. He doesn’t have head coaching experience but it would put an end to the circus that vol fans have been living with for the last month.
