I think FSU has some issues at the core, which is probably part of the reason Jimbo may want to leave.

I've been told by 2 different FSU ST holders that what is screwing up FSU are their facilities, and they just aren't on part with the elite programs. Now, I've done some Google searches, and it looks like a lot of chatter about potential upgrades, but if they are really as bad as these guys make it seem, then I'm not shocked he is leaving.
U Florida has the same problem with facilities not up to par

Both schools have huge multi-million dollar projects in the works, but they are going to take some years to complete

That maybe only hours away and it won't be our third or fourth choice.
Nor will it be someone that many at UF don't want back.

Humility is your best bet. You've seen, from the plight of FL's leading university, how fucked up shit can get.

OK fine.......FSU is a blue blood in comparison to Aggy, and it's not close.

It isn't. FSU is a blue blood, Aggy is a stepping stone. Jimbo is looking at a much harder path to winning in the SEC West.

There is nothing to gain outside of money in this move.

Stepping stone? Yeah because we have had so many coaches come in and get poached to other schools. Other than the sad day when Bama's gain was our loss, which coaches exactly were picked from A&M to move on to bigger and better?

From the article

Ummm fuck yeah. Texas > Tallahassee. Better stadium. Better facilities. More money. A football conference.

I hope he goes to A&M and spanks some ass just to see the butthurt Texas and FSU fans

Something about the water in Ohio and West Virginia develops the best football coaches

LOL Most FSU fans I know are ready for some young blood and a change. If he goes, he goes. He's not going to pull all the talent from South FL that he did at FSU.

You need a QB. If you had one, you wouldn't be going through a coaching carousel every few years.

Yup, those racists fired him for losing to Kansas, Kansas is a juggernaut those klan members were just looking for a reason.
They kept him from being successful. Funny how he is everywhere else. TX is not special just the people are a little touched.

If Tennessee wasn't being Tennessee right now, this would be the weirdest story in the semi-off season.

Haha true. I surely don't get it - it's puzzling. Who would leave FSU with the recruiting hotbed in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama and go to College Station? Why wouldn't you go to LSU if you left at all..?

Jimbo is a helluva recruiter but not a great coach the past 2-3 years. I have no problem with the coach at Oregon or Iowa St coming in to a state loaded with recruits and with FSU's history we will be fine.

Jimbo ain't gone pull them boys from South FL to go to College Station like he did at FSU.

Who the fuck needs South FLorida for recruits when you have Texas to recruit from and would be the only Texas school to say "wanna play in the SEC?"?

He'll be like 45mins from Houston, he won't need to go to south Florida.

South FL is the best area to recruit in the country. Don't get all upset over it.

LOL @ the Texas schools right now. LMAO @ you thinking Texas can hold a candle to South FL.
