I have always said that I want the best possible candidate. I don’t care who it is. I am not part of the myopic fanbase that thinks it’s Frost or nothing. I believe there are many great candidates out there that can come in and turn us around. When Riley was hired, yes I did not want Frost but that was because he had no head coaching experience at the time. I have now resigned to the fact that the mass has taken over this search and if it is not Frost then the next coach won’t be given a fair shake so I am in favor of hiring Frost because of that reason.

You don't think he is a good choice? I'm asking only because I know before Riley was hired you were a "never Frost" person. Even when I asked you if you would change your mind if he went to CFU and had success you said no.

It’s not just Nebraska that wants Scott Frost......it’s everyone right now. And not all Husker fans actually believe that Frost’s ties to Nebraska actually make him a better candidate than anyone else. In fact, that is a very small crowd and that is the crowd who is uneducated.

What I like about Frost is when I watch UCF play they just look to be ahead of the curve Offensively. They remind me a little bit of Oregon when Chip was there. It makes sense that he might be ahead of the curve given the Offensive minds he has worked under the past 24 years of his life. It also doesn’t hurt that he’s intelligent and can learn from those experiences he’s had.

What I like is something I read regarding his practices. A player said they go through 15-20 minutes of intensive warm ups and then are put in to game type situations. They hated it at first but they've seen how it pays off in games. They know they can give always give a little more.

I thought of Diaco when I read that and him saying "It's really hard to get them to practice tackling this time of year because they are all tired."

One viewpoint is, you're going to get tired and I'm going to teach you can do it tired. The other, well golly geez, they're all tired, what can we do?

I was a "never Frost" person because of former teammates of his that told me they didnt want any part of him coaching here. I am not saying he is not currently a good choice. He was not a good choice then. When you asked about him having success at UCF and if I would want him then, I was under the assumption that Riley would work out here and be here longer than 3 years. During that time I felt that Frost would have gotten a big time job where even after Riley left then Frost would be at a better place. In the current situation we are in, I trust that Bill Moos has the best guys available on that list of 6 that he spoke of at the press conference on saturday. Whomever he hires, I am in on.

I understand that it is not just Nebraska that wants Frost. Its not just Nebraska that wants a number of coaches. The ground swell that started for Frost was because he was a former Husker and only that reason. It was the one's with a clue that were able to look into the actual qualifications. Like I said before, I want the best guy possible and I think there are more than just 1 guy that fits that criteria and I trust that Moos will hire the right guy no matter what.

At the risk of having the dogs set loose on me as when I have been in disagreement, I have to ask why do Nebraska fans have to fight even when they're in agreement? So he took Highway (edit) 6, while you took I80, so what if you are at the same place now?

Do those former players still feel that way? Just curious.....I’ve noticed a lot of former players this season have come out in support of Frost now.
