The only guy that will take this job is a Nebraska guy or a coach who has had below average results elsewhere. Nebraska ( much like Florida ) is not a job you want if you are proven . Fan base wants results right now and even if you perform well it likely won't be good enough. No reason for an up and coming coach to take a job with very little upside.

You also got rid of a guy who took you to a Natty. Bo was a fine coach by the standards of 90% of CFB. Nebraska is not one of those places and that's fine but with where the program is now there's no point in a great young coach taking that job . Why do you think you ended up with Mike Riley last time ?? Lol. Now if the guy has Nebraska roots that's different but otherwise it's going to be a recycled P5 washout out or an unproven guy

Not when you take into account all the off the field things. The guy who took us to a Natty got a Cheerleader preggo and had a huge drinking problem (i still think his firing was premature) and Bo was a complete asshat cursing out everybody, he was job searching a year prior and realized nobody would hire him, sure he got 4 losses EVERY YEAR even in 10 win seasons he always had 4 losses! He could never win any big game against quality opponents, his teams always melted down, they had no discipline. But yea lets say because he won 9 games he was supposed to and got blown out in games he should have been competitive in he was awesome!!

Who said he was awesome ? I said he was fine. The fact you said that he wasn't "awesome " proves my point . Nebraska won't settle for less than awesome . Nothing wrong with that . You're just not going to get it so it is what it is. Hopefully you get Frost , if not it'll be scrub city
