yeah, careful is the right word. It is so early in the season its hard to tell just how good a lot of teams are. Especially with so many question marks going into the season for UNLV. That said they have impressed so far we will see how they do against some of the teams coming up.
He was able to recruit pretty well but wasn't able to get everything out of those good recruits. Menzies already seems like a better coach and is still able to recruit at a high level. I consider this season as Menzies first, hard to count last year as being anything more than a complete shit show that he got thrown into.
All good points. The lack of competition early is making me a little nervous, makes me think they will experience a bit of shock when they play someone good. I did think Utah would be a tougher game, and the Southern Utah game was pretty close until the last 5 minutes or so. I want to see this team on the road before I start making too many judgments. @Northern Iowa and home against Arizona should be good tests.

I actually like it. They are trying to spice things up, it adds a little Vegas flair without being too over the time. Some of these college courts look like an optical illusion, those courts I hate.
Gotta love the old court. I am just glad they didn't put the weird new logo on it.
