Alabama could beat Auburn and lose to Georgia and still get in.

I"m not sure how this could be the case. Bama no longer has a win over a ranked team. If they lose to UGA, they would be .500 against ranked teams and would also not have won their conf. We simply can't have two teams from the same conf in the playoffs. The PAC is likely out and Notre Dame in. That means the winner of the BIG should get that last spot.

If Notre Dame gets in why would the BIG go? I don't think ND getting in is likely, but I'd see ACC, SEC, and Big 12 in before a two loss team from the BIG goes. An undefeated Wisconsin would obviously deserve a seat at the table.

How about other teams stop fucking losing so that OSU can be dropped from the conversation..? The PAC is a bigger mess than the BIG right now and no one wants to see a conference get two teams in.. so what do you do? If OSU wins the BIG, they are in the conversation yet again.

No team that loses by 31 points to Iowa should be in any conversation.

Shit, you're right.. completely left out the Big 12. So it would be..

SEC, ACC, BIG12 & ???

Why? tOSU had no business in the playoff last year. They didn't win their division nor their conference and were an ass hair away from 5 losses. There is a reason they were stomped and embarrassed by Clemson and that's b/c they had no business being there in the 1st place, but you guys sell hotel rooms and tickets and are good for the local economy. This year, you guys already have 2 losses and were curbstomped by an average, unranked Iowa team. Now in 2015, tOSU should have been in the playoff without a doubt. I firmly believe ya'll would have gone back to back if it wasn't for that fluke loss to MSU.
We lost our division because michigan was upset by Iowa. In a round robin format between those 3 teams, OSU goes to the title game. If you want to give Penn State credit for Iowa beating michigan, go ahead. However, we'd already beaten Wisconsin in Camp Randall, so going to the CCG and playing them again wouldn't have proven anything that we hadn't already proven. Again, top 10 on both offense and defense, 3 top 10 wins. No other team in the nation had that resume. That's why we got there. If you honestly think the committee is only caring about hotel rooms, you're incredibly naive.

You're right about 2015.

You lost the division last year because you lost to PSU.

Click Bama losing to Auburn and Georgia winning the SEC and if Auburn wins out it is a tossup as well. It’d go back to who people would rather play a 2nd time Auburn Bama or OSU OU

It shows that if UCF and Notre Dame win out then OSU is projected to be in the playoffs in those scenarios.

So basically you've gone from saying that OSU needs a ton of help to get in even if they win out to now hinging your entire argument on Alabama being upset. That's the only way OSU MIGHT not make it in, and even then the percentages of Alabama getting in over them are small.

I won’t have time to mess around with it til later. I just looked at the most logical, which as I said, has Bama getting in with one loss over a two loss OSU.

That's not the most logical. That would require a pretty big upset. Most logical is Bama and OU win out, the winner of the ACC makes it and OSU makes it. Which is supported by that link.

Bama has to play AT Auburn and if they win, they then play Georgia. Two top 10 teams. No one has two games remotely near that difficult.

And yet, Bama should still win both games and will undoubtedly be favored as such.

What does UCF and ND have to do with anything? UCF was never going to be in. And ND, while an argument can be made. The ONLY way they’d have a shot is if Miami beat Clemson, because a 2 loss ND isn’t getting in over a 1 loss Miami, as Miami hammered them.

They are favored by 3 against Auburn and I don’t know about Georgia, but I’m sure they will be favored. If OSU’s scenario is 30% with Michigan and Wisconsin as an 11 And 7 point favorite. What would you put Alabama at?

Dunno, doesn't really matter though. Your original point has already been completely destroyed, as we both know, so I'm not sure what you're even trying to get at here.

Apparently they have something to do with it, but I'm not sure what. But the difference is that Ohio State is most likely to be in the playoffs even if Auburn or Georgia win the SEC if Ohio State, UCF and Notre Dame win out.

You're making a big stink about the 30% probability, but I don't understand why. Alabama has a 42% chance of winning out, Ohio State has a 43% chance of winning out. The 30% chance of Ohio State making it in is because of the odds of upsets happening.

Have some family matters to take care of — I will get back to this later. Happy Thanksgiving.
