This is starting to get tiring.

Rumor after damn rumor.

I hope we beat Iowa. When that clock hits zero though, the wheels officially start turning and we finally start to find out real information.

I just saw some hick post on Facebook that he has an inside source who says Riley will stay on as a super special recruiter and Frost will make 7 million a year. Yes, yes of course.....and Lawrence Phillips will be the first human being to come back from the dead and some loophole in the NCAA rules will allow a man who was previously deceased to regain 4 years of eligibility as well as grow 20 years younger.

Tiring?

It's relieving to know this staff's days are numbered. Better luck to the next coach.

So relieving Stool's probably even fapped.

UCF better hope they don't show too many shots of their empty stands. seriously, a friday after Thanksgiving game, that stadium will be empty. maybe a few more fans due to it being an in state rival and a 9-1 team, but still, i'd wager the crowd will be sparse.

i think they said it is "almost sold out" what that actually means i dont know, but this will be their A-Game whatever it ends up being, especially with both fan bases close together.

The game is sold out. It is called the War on I-4. Interstate 4 runs from Orlando to Tampa Bay.

UCF still has class today.

Just a little hype about the game. Not like Nebraska is.

The local weather people call 75 degrees COOL.

Last my wife checked tickets were $100.

I have seen a grand total of ZERO UCF shirts on anyone.
I have seen
one Miami Hurricanes fan.
One FSU fan.
One Alabama fan.
One A&M fan.

I will try to concentrate more today on looking for college shirts.

Very tiring.

Our fanbase is one of the more uneducated fanbases in the country. Literally one of the least knowledgeable fanbases in the entire country.

The rumors are out of control and 99 out of 100 of them are so far-fetched that the fact people believe them and pass them on makes me feel concerned for the future of mankind.

thanks for the info. :thumb: I thought maybe the rivalry would make a difference, but with how empty they were two weeks ago when i turned it on, i didn't know it would make that much. i guess also, it's not that big of a stadium, so it doesn't take as much to fill up.

We reached out to Chip Kelly and he said no thanks.

Chip said this himself.

What I read was second party.... It was in USA Today and an "unnamed source" said he believed Nebraska "reached out" and he said he wasn't interested.

Whoever it was also said that he outright turned down Tennessee and was deciding between Florida and UCLA.

Key point is that Nebraska didn't "offer", just reached out. Other key point is that the guy was positive about every other school involved but when it came to Nebraska he said he basically thinks he turned us away.

Also, to elaborate, I wouldn't put too much stock into Nebraska reaching out to other coaches. Even if Frost and his agent told Nebraska they were 100%, Moose and Co. Would be doing the school a disservice if they weren't courting backup candidates.

Also... I'm pretty much done reading too far into this thing. Like people here were saying, some fans are blatantly retarded and believe everything they read. ESPN, Land of 10, Bleacher Report, and Facebook are utterly terrible sources of information.

The one huge positive is that it doesn't really appear that any other schools are spending much time on Frost, which points to one of two possibilities.... He's either all N, or he's staying at UCF, which is extremely unlikely.

That was before we landed Saben dig, Saben is going to keep both Williams and Peralla and have MR run the recruiting dept so that we can keep literally our entire class, Bookie is going through my music this weekend and we’re going to attend a swap meet

So what we all hear is Chip is deciding between offers at UCLA and Florida.

If it was me, I'd be heading to Florida out of those 2. I wouldn't want to get back into the same conference that I just previously owned and have to attempt to do it again at a different school. I just see the odds not being great in him being able to replicate that in the same conference.

I think he'll go to Florida where the expectations won't be to immediately to go to the playoffs like they will be at UCLA. Remember, UCLA folks think if he can do it at Oregon then he can do it at UCLA. I just don't think he actually can do it at UCLA.......because he doesn't have Scott Frost, the piece to his puzzle that everyone overlooked while he was at Oregon.....the obvious piece that propelled that Offense to be what it was while Chip was there.

He'll go to Florida and get them playing decent enough football to where Florida is always in the mix in the SEC. He'll likely beat Saban zero times, but he will get them back in the mix.

So that brings me to Frost......now that I know Chip Kelly will go to Florida.

The only likely choices for Frost now appear to be UCLA and Nebraska. And don't even give me this shit about him staying at UCF......come on. Take your meds and get right. He's leaving because he only lives once and he's not stupid.

Anyways, UCLA and Nebraska. It's almost like we're right back where we were in the 90's when he had to choose between Stanford and Nebraska. He chose Stanford that time, but quickly realized his heart was in Nebraska the whole time, where he would eventually return to win a Natty.

I don't think he makes that mistake again. This time his opportunity to be the guy at Nebraska will be an easy enough choice for him. He's returning and he's going to bring that optimism back that we always used to have. He's going to breathe winning back into this program. Once again, on every down of every football game, every player is going to feel like they have the upper edge. No matter who we face. We will play confident, and we will play to win.

Getting blown out will be a huge disappointment and will be the one ultimate thing we try to avoid happening. Because it never should happen at the level we should be at.

So now that I know Scott Frost is going to restore the order..........GO BIG RED!!!!! HUSKERZ FER CHAMPZ!!!

Chip can have first pick of the FL recruits at UF, in CA he can have seconds or thirds, and would have to live and drive in LA boo.
Scott is a done deal so not as much to talk about

Chip Kelly - Florida. No brainer for me.

Florida and SEC is passionate about college football. He could win a National Championship there. Recruit talent in the southeast is probably better than anything California has. Georgia, Florida, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana all have lots of athletes that are not that smart, but they can play football or basketball.

UCLA is second fiddle in California and even at second fiddle, no one really cares. USC is first fiddle, and it could be argued that Stanford is second fiddle.

Frost was just a receivers corch under Kelly. Helfrich was the OC.
Frost didn't get promoted to OC until Helfrich took over HC.

For some reason tonight I've started to get really nervous about Frost possibly not coming here.

I was pretty confident coming into this weekend. Something feels off to me suddenly.

This is JJM the last 10 days.
