Where does that leave us with the rest of the targets? Did one of Parsons, Smith, Oweh, or Walker stop being a take? Or does the staff just have a feeling they won’t be able to get 1 or 2 of them and decided to take Enis?

Oweh with an interesting tweet today, said his visit made him realize why he fell in love with PSU in teh first place.

Also, Micha Parsons tweeted that he has been accepted to PSU, his dad says he's taking an official with us and he's trying to wrap up classes and senior project so he can early enroll wherever he chooses. Landing him and getting him in for Spring ball would be HUGE. I think he and Humphries definitely play out of the EE's if he does indeed make that happen

Micah has a commit date scheduled in December doesn’t he? Or is he waiting till his AA game in January?

Edit: after posting this I realized that if he’s planning on being an EE he can’t wait until January so disregard that comment lol

He's committing December 20 and will sign on December 22 whether he can make early enroll or not. His official to PSU is the same weekend all our commits are in town (Dec 9) and Tyreke Smith will be there as well.

Fuck why couldn’t have been Charlie Katshir or someone not as talented as Young. Oh well at least we aren’t taking players with question marks anymore.

Sounds like we won't have a choice in this. Person who first broke it, said it was bad. As for Katshir, kid can play and is at a position of greater need. Will suck to lose Young, but we can fill a safety spot rather easily as we were recruiting a bunch and some are back on market with coaching changes

I listed Katshir because noticed he was of lower ranking. Not saying he couldn't play.

Does this mean the staff will put the full court press on Raines? Or just take the extra spot and use it for one of the targets still on the board?

He's rated about where Poz and Sean Lee were coming out of HS FWIW

I don't think it would take a full court press for Raines, staff also sees him as an OLB, not a safety long term. I could see Houston Griffith getting a full court press or just take Enis, Walker and the 3 DL to finish out. Anderson-Butss liekly ends up at safety when he eventually qualifies and we lead big for top 2019 JUCO safety as well.

Rasheed Walker will be in town for his official visit along with the bulk of our current commits and tyreke smith...believe Parsons may make the trip as well....could be a very big weekend.

Also, doesn't sound like the extra spot from young will definitely go to another safety. It may be the opening we need to take enis.

I will trade Young for Walker, Enis, Tyreke and Parsons. I guess I will sacrifice on this trade.

Saw that Barbir and Robinson were both granted a release. Could this open the door to add some more pieces to the recruiting class? Barbir and Robinson were both on scholly so I'd assume some would open up, but I guess the staff could choose to give them to a walk on or something.
