i wouldn't mind getting some new lights. trying something different. we put out the same stuff every year. well, i tend to rotate something in the front yard, we have a couple of reindeer and like a snowman. we always line our drive way with these little christmas trees, which is one thing i do like every year.
I gave up on that Christmas decorating biz the day my adult children raided the best decorations from my shed. I refuse to spend more money - my house address was in the World Herald years ago for my display. My son in law stopped over yesterday bitching that the one of my other daughters had better decorating stuff and doesn't put it out.
We do christmas eve driving to all the "greats" like the ones who broadcast music and sync their lights, there is always a really good one near us out in the Chalco area
