Jeff Long out as Arkansas athletic director, Julie Cromer Peoples named interim

"The decision to change leadership in our Athletics Department is not an easy one, and was made after great deliberation, discussion and thought, after consultation with the Board of Trustees and President Bobbitt," the statement read. "Since coming to Fayetteville in 2008, Jeff has led our department with character and integrity and helped move us forward in so many ways. However, over the past year, Jeff has lost the support of many of our fans, alumni, key supporters, and members of the university leadership, support that I believe is critical in our pursuit of excellence.

I wounder how KING OLLIE is liking his job at the NCAA?...no one from the state ever seems to call the guy for a quick story...too bad Mickey is still not around he would have been all over it!

When P5 schools decide to leave the NCAA, will Luck choose to stay at his current job?

Lyons would be a good candidate to replace if Luck were to leave. The NCAA is full of incompetent officials like him...

It is amazing though isn't ...Ollie messaged all the time things that were going in in the Athletic Department just to keep the buzz going..Lyon's maybe once in a blue moon...I guess everyone has their own style...Lyon's is eerily familiar to a past AD though....not good.
