Well that was a great game to watch. I don't know if they will climb in the rankings but they should climb in the rankings just keep winning and it will take care of it's self.

I don't want to detract from a great night and a solid performance but BK still worries me. His instincts just seem wrong. Coming out of the half Helton said they need to run to get back in the game. Kelly told the commentator that he was sure USC would keep passing.

He should just Costanza it the rest of the season.

At the very least Notre Dame will take USC's #11 spot. Could possibly jump Oklahoma State after their OT win.

They're going to climb. Too dominant of a win against a team ranked ahead of them to not move up a few spots. IMO they'll be 11th passing USC and Washington

Been circled as the "trap" game all year. Although NC State is legit. I wouldn't call it a trap game. Our receivers need to get better. Still too many dropped balls. We easily could have been up 35-0 at the half if Mack and ESB were more reliable.

Amazing game yesterday. I know SC is banged up, but that was still impressive. N.C. State scares me with that stout run defense but I feel pretty good this morning.

I just don't see how this can be a trap game when the team you're facing is ranked # 14. I would have agreed if this was a 4-3 unranked team. This is a 6-1 top 15 team.

Navy is much more of a trap game than NC State IMO

Well Notre Dame are ranked in the top 10 now #9 according to the AP and #10 according to the coaches. It should be a fun to watch play out.

I'm also not exactly sure how good NC State is exactly. If this team is focus, we should win by 10-14 points at least.

NC State schedule been weak. They beat FSU who obviously isn't any good since their QB went down and beat Louisville who just dropped a game at home to BC recently. Those are the 2 best wins

It’s a trap game primarily because you’re coming off a huge win against your top rival. The fact that it’s a home game means the players will be on campus with people telling them all week how good they are. Playing a team that is good, but not what most would consider a high profile team, all this while that team has had two weeks to prepare for ND. These are all factors that I think help contribute to the idea that this is a trap game. This is where coaching comes into play. Kelly will have to be able to keep these guys focused in light of these issues.

We should want this game. Not just for the season goals but this is a team we've never beaten. Of course one time they had Philip Rivers and then the hurricane that BK tried to pass from shotgun. I would hope BK would want to redeem himself.

They should want this game NC State really doesn't have a quality win with FSU looking so bad
