And most of the championship roster was recruited directly by Urban and that was his 3rd year. This is my point. How are you guys not upset about having the highest paid coach in the nation at one of the most prestigious programs while looking at possibly 8-4 in his 3rd season?

Because most Michigan fans are rational and patient. Michigan will be just fine--thanks for being concerned.

but not every coaching situation is the same. Some are going to have a roster loaded with experienced players by year three, some have a roster full of first year starters (see Michigan 2017). Keep in mind that Harbaugh's first class was a transition class. He's only had two full recruiting classes (2016 and 2017) so far. Not saying Harbaugh should be exempt from any criticism, the offense is a hot mess and he probably could have brought better personnel in. But I don't think it was realistic to expect them to be a serious playoff contender this year.

As I said before, read MGoBoard. There's overreaction galore.

OL is never an issue at ND. Yeah you've picked off all the Catholic boys from Ohio recently so you'll be fine. Think Adams leaves early?

I think Adams could potentially leave early. He's had nitpicking injuries throughout his career. I hope he stays though, he could go down as the best RB ever at Notre Dame if he does.

And Harbaugh had a very experienced team year one with talent all over the place except under center.

When I went to Michigan ... all the pretty girls were at Michigan State, so MSU has always had a place in my heart. And the only things in the world I am allowed to hate are a nuclear holocaust and ohio state (these ohio state posters make it tough). Take care of business my brother.

Go back & read my # 40 comment. I gave a couple of examples of HC's this century that accomplished a lot w/i 2 to 3 years. Which I thought was a fair amount of time to since JH is in his 3rd year in ann arbor.
I am not going to read your comment...I responded to one you already made, hence the quote

I don't think so. Do people remember where Michigan was before he got here? The simple fact that you think losing 2 games is a letdown for Michigan means he's done exactly what we wanted him to do.

He has the same record so far that Brady Hoke did. And they are pretty much heading in the same direction at this point.

Certainly agree. However, at the same points the program is much better and more competitive than with Hoke. After their Sugar Bowl victory (with RichRod's players) Hoke's teams started trending down. Not seeing this here.
