Jim Grobe is more accomplished in college football than Harbaugh. He lead Wake Forest to the ACC title in 2006.

If it wasn't for excuses some meeeechegan fans would have nothing.

And what no one seems to want to talk about is Harbaugh is being out coached. Both losses to MSU he had the superior team but screwed it up. Whether it be running it up the gut rather than running to the edges which would have ran out the clock, not being max protect with a punter who has almost been blocked twice, insisting on passing, including 8 straight times in the monsoon. He couldn't close out Ohio State last year with bad play calling. Iowa.

Damn right. I don't care what the records are when Ohio State & meeeechegan meet that game always makes me nervous.

Most tOSU fans never count out UM for The game. Even the ones that do are not in control of the teams mentality so not so dangerous.

I have you both beat, I call my shrink, because I am getting ready for a two week depression.

We lose 3/5 of our O-line. That will be an area of concern, but we've recruited well across the O-line so hopefully we can plug and play. D should still be solid.
OL is never an issue at ND. Yeah you've picked off all the Catholic boys from Ohio recently so you'll be fine. Think Adams leaves early?

OSU fans are acting like they've won this year already, which is a dangerous position to take. Yes, Michigan has lost a crap ton of these games in the past 15 years but all it takes it one and it's going to happen at some point. I'll tell you one thing, no one's going to care about any of the losses we take this year if we beat Ohio State.

I'm just glad you still have hope. When you don't, watching Michigan get their dicks stepped on isn't as fun.

Oh come on. The situation at OSU is completely different. Urban inherited a fantastic roster and just simply continued what Tressel built. Hoke had two good classes, followed by a mediocre one. And Harbaugh had 3 weeks to finish the 2015 class. So there's a talent hole we still need to work through. Obviously I want Michigan to win a national title every year but I'm also realistic and see the very obvious reasons why that hasn't happened. We're close to being able to win 10+ games every year, but not just there yet.
Honest question - aside from Rashaan Gary, what players has Harbaugh hit on in recruiting so far?

It's a bit of a loaded question because he's only had 2 real recruiting classes. It's unlikely you'd really be gushing about many true freshman or sophomores.

With that said, there's some impressive defensive starters currently from the 2016 class. Devin Bush Jr., Lavert Hill, Rashan Gary, David Long.

But that should illustrate my point. I just named four defensive starters from last year's recruiting class.

I'd also like to point out that many of the 11 NFL draft picks from last year were nobodies before Harbaugh came in, even if he didn't recruit them originally he's the one who developed them.

Did Harbs or did Don Brown?

Correct he hired someone. But you said "developed".
The defense has been good every year under Harbaugh with two defensive coordinators. So it's unreasonable to say he had nothing to do with it.

I guess we see things different. I do not think Meyer is "developing" tOSU's defensive talent.

How is it a loaded question? Our national championship team featured:

RS Freshman JT Barrett/Soph Cardale Jones
RS Freshman Ezekiel Elliott
Soph Vonn Bell
Soph Joey Bosa
RS Freshman Darron Lee
RS Freshman Eli Apple
Soph Tyvis Powell
Freshman Raekwon McMillan
Soph Michael Thomas
RS Freshman Jalin Marshall
Freshman Billy Price
Sophomore Pat Elflein

That's over half of our starters and also doesn't take into account Corey Smith and Adolphus Washington, who Urban added late to his 2012 recruiting class that he started in December of 2011.

And Harbaugh is making more than Urban. How can you guys be OK with 8-4??

The simple answer -- MIchigan isn't on OSU's level yet. Your roster was deep and talented in 2014.

And most of the championship roster was recruited directly by Urban and that was his 3rd year. This is my point. How are you guys not upset about having the highest paid coach in the nation at one of the most prestigious programs while looking at possibly 8-4 in his 3rd season?
