I just don't pay that much attention to Michigan I guess, because I would have never guessed with all the hype that they have literally lost to every team with a pulse and only beaten (save Florida) punching bags. That said, I do give them props for beating AFA. My punching bag of a team hasn't even figured that out in the last 3 years.

So is Tom Herman

Ended his Houston tenure 3-1 in last 4 games and is 3-4 starting at UT. 6 - 5.

Huh, didn't notice that. Interesting! :thumb:

Are we sure Florida has a pulse? McElwain is 6-5 in his last 11 games as well.

Hasn't been a good stretch. But keep in mind, those games last year (Iowa, OSU, FSU) were losses by a combined like 5 points. Iowa kicked a field goal as time expired, OSU got a controversial 1st down in 3OT and FSU had a last minute TD drive. Michigan suffered some really tough breaks to end the season last year. This year is what it is. We aren't great, we aren't bad, and we're going to lose a few games.

I sure hope you don't think I don't understand. Total props on the comeback in the last few years. Nothing to be ashamed of if you finish in the top 15 in any year. In my 3rd year of heartache...next year will be a little better, but will still likely be a pre Christmas Bowl for us.

It is nice to see so many people concerned with Michigan ... we will be alright ... I am honored with your concern for us ... leave the flowers and the get well card on the porch and leave.

But that's because Charlie Strong didn't leave any magic pixie dust behind

What's funny is that these are the same people who probably said Michigan was a 7-5 team this year. While I hope we don't fall to that record, if we're an 8-4/9-3 team this year....that means we have to lose 3-4 games.

I'm not worried about our development. I like a lot of what I see still out of this team. The offense just needs a QB. I'm still hoping we see something out of the younger guys before the season is up.

Pretty sure more than half the SEC coaches have similar records over that span. Only one dominant team and 13 mediocre ones for the past 5 seasons

Mike Riley Nebraska 5-6

Minnesota W
Maryland W
Iowa L 40-19
Tennessee L 38-24 (Butch Jones)
Ark State W
Oregon L
Northern Illinois L
Rutgers W
Illinois W
Wisconsin L 38-14
Ohio State L 56-14

What is shocking is dummie Shawn Eichorst thought this guy was a WINNING coach. Mike Riley might be a good coach(Hey, he is like a Canadian Football Champion), but he is not a winner. Sprinkles are for winners and Mike Riley does not get any sprinkles.

We are alright ... we should acknowledge that there are really good team in the B1G right now (ohio state, Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan State), Indiana also has a very nice defense. I worry about Nebraska ... a school with their history can turn it around very quickly.

Michigan is young and we are no slouch ... I think an ass beating (similar to the one in Penn State) can give a team humility. I like the future and I like Harbaugh and it has nothing to do with any other team. We do not have to insult any other team.

I said this before the game on Saturday, I expected a loss but my only hope was that it spurred a change at QB. That's what this team needs, we just need a spark on offense. The defense is capable of keeping us in any game if the offense were able to have life. Scoring less than 14 points against good teams just isn't going to cut it.

And because Harbaugh had Peters warming up on Saturday gave me hope that we might see that change in the near future.

This is fun!

Will Muschamp 6-5 in his last 11:

Florida L 7-20
Western Carolina W 44-33
Clemson L 56-7
South Florida (bowl) L 39-46 OT
NC State W 35-28
Missouri W 31-13
Kentucky L 13-23
Louisiana Tech W 17-16
Texas A&M L 17-24
Arkansas W 48-22
Tennessee W 15-9

Probably headed towards another 6-6 season though: Got Vandy (pickem), Georgia (L), Florida (L), Wofford (pick), and Clemson (BIG L). The only positive is that everything is at home except for the Bulldogs. Can possibly squeeze out 7 wins
