Also the supposed new "favorite" in the north just beat the Rodgers-less Packers by a mere 13 points in Minnesota. Hundley throws 3 picks and you only win by 13?

Bridgewater is practicing again though.

Well, Minnesota realized only way GB was getting points was if they turned the ball over, so they went a little conservative

In the end we'll win with defense and god-willing, average offense.

To the OP

Yes, GB will win some more games. I've heard few optimistic fans/GB pundits think 10-6 is doable, Hundley will need to be A LOT better next week for them to get to 10-6

Taking the Saints this week, the shock of no Rodgers will still be in effect.

I would too, GB isn't known for Pass defense, but I do expect Gb to put up more than 10 points

Is that why Barr drove Rodgers into the turf after the pass had been thrown?

It was a clean tackle that happens every game

But keep sticking to that mantra

It was a dirty hit and he may still be fined. Taking out the NFL's top drawing card was just stupid.

There won't be a fine

If Hundley can perform like Dak did last year, she they can. They have to run the ball and he has to not turn the ball over. Coaching has to take the ball out of his hands and rely on veteran leaders

Yes I think they can. Now will it be in a blow-out fashion? No but I do think they can and will

Hundley will be better than people think

This is my thinking. He's had 2+ seasons in the system, is smart, and has arm talent.

Just because 3/4 of pro football fans don't recognize the name means nothing.

We’ve see other Packers backup come in and do well. It’s been a while but Flynn comes to mind and some others before him. Your spot on about the name recognition part.

Actually Flynn is the only in the last 25 years or so with how fortunate the Packers have been with QBs in that period of time. But yes, you are absolutely correct.

Also Hundley has more natural talent than Flynn.

Packers are a bad team with a special QB. That is one franchise that does not know how to build a team. They never built around AR and now it will show. Bad GM and bad coach IMO. Yes I am a Bears fan so I might be biased but outside or great QB play I don't see a good team in any area.

Yet another thread making excuses for Rodgers...:L

IDK that it an excuse so much for Rogers ( don’t feel any excuses are called for given his level of play) rather a indictment on the Packers reluctance to use the FA market or develop a significant number of players. They have been penny pinchers and it has hurt in developing a team that could be really good. A little more boldness is needed in both the draft ( moving up for example ) and the free agent market IMO.

Yet another post making excuses for Rodgers.

....fuckin' Brady's been on his ass all year and any Pats fan would catch shit for blaming the team.

Excuse me, why would Rogers need excuses? I don’t even like the guy, so not about to make excuses for him.

I think they win vs. Detroit at home and Cleveland. Tough schedule for them ahead Rodgers or not.

It'll take a couple weeks of getting his feet wet in there but I think Hundley will be okay. The Packers really need a running game though. It would help immensely. But that can be said for a few teams out there.
As for the thread question, the Packers will win a few games for sure. They might end up 9-7 which would be a bit of a disappointment for their fans considering they looked like a SB contender with AR. The NFC and for that matter, most of the NFL is pretty mediocre right now. Call it parity or whatever but anybody can beat anybody. I think Hundley will turn some heads before the season ends. I saw a couple of good things Sunday from him. Yeah, the picks were there but he came in cold in a tough spot. A little time with the first team and some actual game time will make a big difference, imo.
