Pretty sad that after Rodgers this team is average to below average everywhere. Senile Ted Thompson has wasted the career of Rodgers. Delusional old bastard probably doesn't even realize it.

This has been obvious for years now. Pathetic comes to mind.

McCarthy will have to do the best job he's ever done to get this team to the playoffs. It's also a great opportunity for Hundley. He could make himself millions and get a starting job somewhere in the NFL. They best get their shit together and soon if they don't want this season to circle the bowl and be sent into the septic.

Playoffs? Lol, we will be lucky to see them win another game this season. The defense couldn’t stop a bunch of backups and the offense is useless without Rodgers.

Let’s face it Packer nation, TT has failed this organization with his draft and develop philosophy. The only reason this team has been successful is because of AR. Now, because of their success they have been picking late in drafts. The caliber of players on GB aren’t capable of picking up the team when the QB goes down. Free agency is where TT should have focused his efforts knowing GB would be near last in the draft to pick. I think it’s time for a change.

Let me take a guess...you were one of the dudes that wanted the Pack to suck Favre's dick, fire TT and trade Rodgers back in 08?

Here is my take...every one of these dudes collects a paycheck and they need to earn it...that means figuring out how to win games. No more falling back on "we have #12 and he can get us there"...they need to do their jobs to their ability, not feel sorry for themselves or Rodgers and get the job done...end of story.

You are a horrible guesser. Later in Favre's career at GB, I would hold my breath when he dropped back to pass because he was an interception throwing machine. I wished him well when he went to the Jets. He became dead to me when he signed with minny.

That may be part of the problem. No one in the organization should have this mentality. Unfortunately their worst nightmare has come true. We already know the defense is bad. MM had the luxury of riding #12's coattails so now we will find out how good of a coach he actually is. My guess is they wont win many games, and if so, hopefully it shakes up the status quo.

Well, This is about as bad as it gets. Loosing a Franchise QB is bad, loosing that and a potential MVP is worse. Add to that missing most of your O-line with injuries is going to make it very hard on Hundely. On the Defensive side of the ball, Missing a large amount of your DBs makes for a coverage nightmare and having your pass rush either gimpy or out doesnt help either. The standard thing to do would to be to blame Capers. But he has no control over injuries or the offense. Time to look for a different scapegoat. Maybe, just Maybe its bad luck.

Ill be watching every game to see how it unfolds. I hope that something is surprising and they win some games along the way.

Im not sure why people are just writing off the season. Still plenty left and its still in front of the players. Hundley will look better next week because he will get first team reps and will get a game plan tailored to his abilities and skills.

I thought previous seasons were bad. But we are currently down 3/5s of the starting offensive line (with Barclay, Spriggs, Murphy and Goode all already on IR, 3/4s of the staring secondary (with Rollins placed on IR), JOe Thomas and Ahmad Brooks not playing, and Mike Daniels missing time. It would extremely ironic if Clay Matthews plays healthy all 16 games this year.

We know Hundley will not play like 2017 Aaron Rodgers, but if he can play like 2008 Aaron Rodgers, this team can stay afloat if they stay healthy and Aaron can make it back for the end of the season/playoffs.

I just don't see the Bears, Vikings or Lions being able to run away with this division.

It will be interesting watching Hundley play and grow. Remember when people were thinking we should have traded him away in the off season. Its likely we will be glad they have him.

When AR started slow last year there was a segment of fans ready to trade AR and (re)start the Brett era

I realize those were idiot fans, but I found it comical

Every fan base has their segment of idiots. Every Packers fan with an IQ above 70 wanted to exile those "trade Rodgers" halfwits to Chicago.
