Holy shit. That’s like 5 seasons!

Not that it is a surprise, but good to know it is a done deal. Now Harmon can plan multiple seasons ahead.

I have a hard time believing they'll actually be able to do all 70 episodes. That's a lot of episodes. I could see them reaching a point, getting bored, and quitting. If they do, I can easily see the quality dip. Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled we're getting more. It's just that's such a big number. You never see orders like that

I remember seeing something about how Harmon is getting used to the production schedule and figuring out how the process works more and more. I think with the show's popularity, Cartoon Network has to give him all the resources he needs.

Dan Harmon is the autistic nerd-culture version of GRRM.

Brilliant, but he works slow and gets distracted easily.

he has a lot going on and he is in pretty high demand. I don't know if I owuld compare him to Martin though. Martin has 1 main job and he can't get that done.

Also, I am not going to pretend either of their jobs are easy.

Harmon certainly gets distracted... or hungover. either way, there's a writers room that comes up with the stuff. i'm sure he's central in keeping it a show with some heart to it, but i'm sure everyone is familiar with his concept of how to make an episode, which anyone can watch on youtube. I say this as a person that is a big fan of community and rick and morty. love the stuff he came up with, but i wouldn't think there's a halt to production because of him coming up with storylines.
