BREAKING: WVU Lands Former Big Ten DB

West Virginia dug back into Georgia today, adding another commitment to the 2018 class, albeit in a roundabout way when Northwest Mississippi (MS) C.C. cornerback Joshua Norwood pledged to the Mountaineers.



Norwood hails from Valdosta (GA), the same high school as current commit Jayce Rogers, signing with Ohio State out of high school. He chose the Buckeyes over offers from Duke, Minnesota, Cincinnati, and more. After two years in the program he chose to transfer and is going the bounceback route, attending JUCO for a season and enrolling in college in January. He will have two years to play two seasons for the Mountaineers.



Norwood held a four-star rating from 247Sports in high school, ranked in the Top247 as the nation's No. 25 cornerback. Stay tuned to EerSports for more on this breaking story.

Pacman was only 5'10... Keith Tandy 5'10 Josh Norman barley squeaks out 6' ...you don't have to be 6'4 to play CB.

He weighs 175 lbs. Today's WR's are huge. Some going 215 and 6'3.

Worley and Douglas are more your prototypical CB for today's game.
