Giants at Arizona
Washington at Phillies
Angles at White Sox
Braves at Mets (x2)

Red shirts and Tigers off.

The Giants face their second hangover-team in 3 days. Phil’s face a team that hasnext to nothing to play for, except to stay fresh for the playoffs. The Angles are holding on by a thread, so you gotta assume they will playing the Sox hard. Braves and Mets likely to split.

This could be another rough day for the standings.

This season has gone so poorly, that we'll wind up winning the last four games and eliminating ourselves from the #1 pick, we'll sign Panda to an extension because he had a homer in the last week, Matt Moore's extension will be signed because the guy has promise (Sanchez 2.0), and we will give Pence and Span an additional year because, you know, they're vets.

SD should sweep this weekend to clinch the 100-loss season. At least the 2017 Giants can't finish with a worse record than the 1985 team, so they will only be tied for being the worst team in franchise history.

How have BA teams fared with #1 picks in the past?

Warriors took Joe Smith and traded for Chris Webber on draft night. Neither of those worked out.

Niners took Alex Smith. He was a solid, serviceable QB, but not what you hope for from the top pick.

The Giants have never had the #1 pick.

I don’t think the A’s or Sharks have ever had the top pick. Have the Raiders ever had it?

Jamarcus Russell.... could be the worst

also looks like they drafted roman gabriel in '62, but he signed with the rams
