Would be nice to see one of those work out in our favor for once.
I recall one year we got screwed out of a division title pretty badly. We probably would've gotten it 99 times out of 100, but the circumstances were crazy bad. We had to play a 4 game series in Oakland, the very team that was chasing us. They swept us and the rest is history.
If the schedule makers gave us almost any other team, we would've won one game (at least) and held on, but we had to play a hungry Oakland team that threw the kitchen sink at us.

Not this garbage again. We weren't winning games with Darvish, no matter how good or not so good he pitched for us. Check the record, we are better off without him. I just hope Calhoun isn't a bust.
