I'm not a big fan of his, but the guy is a fantastic race car driver.

You always figure if one track shouldn't have boring races, it's Bristol. Kyle Busch simply just dominated all three series this weekend.

The racing wasn't bad at all on Saturday. A few drivers had decent runs up front. The problem is that they were all Toyota's except for Larson.

Yeah, but we've seen it before at Bristol and a few other places. Once a talented driver figures out his perfect line, they'll absolutely dominate for long periods of time. Kyle has just got Bristol down. He knows the line and it suits his style perfectly.

Jeremy Clements, who essentially was running a pieced together old car on a shoe string budget, won the Xfinity race at Road America. :yahoo:

Not watching the race but just came across something about an ambulance blocking pit crowd causing a pileup lol

I saw the highlights. Got everything I wanted to see from them. Same old, same old.

Yep, almost caused Kenseth a spot in the playoffs.

Yep, the bullshit can't get any better than the dog and pony show known as NASCAR these days.
I was looking at the comment section on the article and thought that this was interesting.

"what happens at Homestead if the winner of the race is one of the final four, wins the race and the championship, fails inspection and the win is encumbered? Does he win the championship?"

I recall reading somewhere that the final 4 cars will be inspected and impounded after final practice so that there is "no chance" that the winning car will be encumbered.

Chase Elliott was docked 15 points and crew chief Alan Gustafson was suspended for one race for an illegal modification to a component that affected aerodynamics during Elliott's second-place run Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway. Elliott dropped from sixth to eighth in the standings and from having a 33-point cushion on the current elimination cutoff to 18 points with two races left in the opening round. Gustafson also was fined $25,000 and the team also lost one playoff point it had earned for winning a stage at Chicagoland.

Kasey Kahne signs with the Leavine Family Racing to take over the 95 Chevy. This one is a bit of head-scratcher because prima donna Kahne is going from the riches of Hendricks to the blue-collar, one-car team of the 95. I guess he has found his inner philanthropist or something. Who knows in the new wacky world of NASCAR entertainment!

What surprises me is that he found a ride but Mr. Consistency Matt Kenseth still can't find one.

Hendrick is paying Kahne's salary for 2018, so LFR is essentially getting Kahne for free. Kenseth isn't cheap, I'm sure.
