Time for a new head coach

The offense sucks. Defense isn't much better. We couldn't even out score a one demensional offense. The game was over when we were only up by 3 at half after being gifted two turnovers.

At this point the whole program is a joke, anytime a halfway decent team comes to south bend it's a home game for the other team. Anytime we need home field advantage, our fans sell their tickets to the opposing team. Same bullshit happened last time Oklahoma came. I was surrounded by red, same thing tonight. This fan base is as pathetic as the product on the field. Too bad Irma isn't forming in Lake Michigan.

The defense played fine against a true freshman QB. The offense was awful. Wimbush is a junior who plays like he's an injured freshman. The guy acts like he's derrick rose out there. Refuses to take any hits even at the cost of big first downs. When does Kelly have to answer for the team being 5-9 the last 14 times we've stepped on the field? Or 0-5 in our last 5 games vs top 25 teams? What have we won under him? Isn't the 12-0 season wiped away by sanctions? In all the years he's been coaching we have a trophy from the Music City bowl to show for it. He's a lame duck coach. We have no momentum as a program. It's only downhill from here if we keep him. Fire him now or suffer through another horrible season.

If the offense continues to play like that Kelly will lose his job plain and simple. Also I understand he's letting the OC call the plays he's still the head coach and not making sure a guy that ran for 100 yards last week gets playing time is on him he's the head coach. He doesn't get any more benefit of the doubt not with me not after last season.

Also Notre Dame is very unlikely to get a recruit that came tonight they never do on these big weekends when they lose so don't expect a top 5 recruiting class either.

I've always hated kelly. I still do. This one they lost because their qb sucks. It is time to question his eye for qb talent. Hell he bench kizer last yr and ripped him to the media for going pro

the time for a new head coach was 3 years ago. to say this team, as a whole, is not kelly's fault is pure fantasy. kelly doesn't get the players, he doesn't know how to use the players or coaches he gets, he is clueless as an in game coach and notre dame has long ago lost its mystique. ND's leaders don't know what a good coach is and stick with obvious poor ones way too long. it doesn't matter if kelly is fired .... he'll just be replaced by yet another loser.

This made no sense to me. He had 6 carries for 120 yards against Temple, and doesn't play against Georgia. Was he suspended or something else? It made no sense.

Couldn't have been suspended, I seen him on special teams, even had a tackle I believe. It was really irritating to not see him play a single snap of offense.

Kelly said something about him struggling with blitz pick up in the passing game or something like that. The kid is a Junior who's fault is that I would say coaching if a Junior can't pick up the blitz. But either way the guy has more speed than Adams or Jones Jr

I think today was a positive sign because of how we played in the 2nd half and also Red Zone offense is a lot better then last year.
