God help us if Chip Kelly goes to Florida.

With that said, hope the Gators take him before UCLA does.

Nussmeier will be in the hot seat if we lose to Tennessee in a couple of weeks because Stumpy Harris and the hanfull of bullgators who hold the wallet for UF will start to make suggestions and those suggestions are usually followed.. since my uncle has passed im a little out of the loop with the rumblings of the bull gator boosters.. but i still get things through the grapevine.. just not as fast as i used to.. but im hearing rumblings

Chip will never go to UCLA. It's too beneath him. He doesn't want to coach a second fiddle program.

I'll never understand the Chip hype.

His system can only work in the PAC and maybe Big 12. He'd get DESTROYED in the SEC.....and he's not a great recruiter.

I just don't see that guy working out anywhere else but out west

He would do well, but he wouldn't take it over. As long as Saban is at Alabama, a Chip Kelly system would be coming in 2nd at best.

I think Chip would be great in Florida. He was a decent recruiter in Oregon. If you can get some good recruits to come to Oregon, can you imagine how much easier it would be to get them to Florida?

Chip would own a weak SEC East imo.

Report: Florida has begun vetting Chip Kelly for its coaching vacancy

…. with sources indicating that a thorough vetting of Kelly has begun. That includes calls to NFL executives to do general background on Kelly and exploration of his NCAA issues at Oregon.

Not sure I agree. Assuming he went to Florida, he'd be running his system with better players than he had at Oregon.

It's why the Chip to USC rumors were intriguing a few years ago...his system with USC's athletes.
