Crazy to think and I didn't believe it when reports first came out but, WOW.

After a few days and things have settled down it's now looks like it was a great time to make the change in regards what was best for the success of the program.

I heard on The Franchise and they were talking about naming your Bob Stoops memories or what comes to mind and randomly I thought of his pinky.

Really liked how he talked crap on the SEC and wasn't afraid to face them. In an age when all of college football was wanting to bow down to the SEC and acknowledge that the rest of the teams don't deserve to grace the field with their presence. Stoops was the initial one to step up and basically tell them to F off in a way. His program and guy's aren't afraid of them or anyone, and doesn't believe their propaganda.

A look back at Stoops’ war of words against the SEC

It was a great timing.
Everyone says the Lincoln Riley is the guy.
Not sure about that, but only time will tell.

Bob did a good job for us and I wonder how he actually lasted 18 years.
Wish him the best of luck and look forward in the next chapter of Oklahoma Football.

I was in the middle of nowhere in Oregon. No cell service and only satellite radio. Suddenly my phone started dinging (we hit a pocket of cell coverage). My wife shouted "NO F(@*ING WAY"! That's how I found out. I got to thinking about it. The wife and I met in 1999 and married in September 2000 (a couple of days after sitting in 900 degree heat to watch the Sooners crush UTEP to start the undefeated NC season). She and I have never watched a game together where Big Bob wasn't on the sidelines.

I'm with outofyoumind, everyone says Lincoln is the man for the job. I hope so!

I was at Disneyworld in the Animal Kingdom waiting for hours to ride the new Avatar ride.

Many folks as they saw my hat had to ask "You OK?". :dhd:
I had to tell them honestly I think we'll be even better. New blood and all that.

Totes OT, I love Animal Kingdom. How was the ride? I haven't been in 2 years and probably won't until my kid is out of high school.
