Why have the Angels come to life offensively since Trout got hurt?

For the life of me, I cannot make sense of it.

They've actually been playing decent baseball. Logic would have said an already struggling lineup WITH the best player in the game, would be horrid upon losing said player. However, that has been the opposite of what has happened.

Sometimes this game is funny.

Sometimes this game is funny.

Well in the last 23 games, their CFers have a slash line of .341/.417/.541. Maybin, especially, is in a really good stretch right now.

I have to re-adjust my mind to think the way i did on April 1

Just want to see the young guys show us we have a great future, and Judge and Sanchez have the looks of guys that are gonna be stars....Severino is slowly morphing into 2016, so I dont know if its youth, or we have a problem

Every good team has a bad stretch over the course of a season. It looks bad right now, but the sky isn't falling. They're still the same club that was lighting it up a mere 10-15 days ago.

Too much pop in that lineup, and Severino and Pineada will be fine. Tanaka is worrisome... I'll admit that. Another arm at the deadline could serve you all well.
