RPM is putting a no-name road racer in the 43 at Sonoma. This is beyond dumb. Let Bubba get the seat time. You will get much more TV exposure even if he finishes last than you will with the no-name guy.

I think RPM has really lost its way. I agree jeffro151. Stay with Bubba until Almirola comes back and let him get the necessary seat time.

A road course ringer hasn't won in the Cup series since 1972 with Mark Donohue.

Nowadays they only get the also ran rides, but not too long ago, Borris Said, Ron Fellows, Scott Pruitt and others were getting rides with top teams just for the road courses.

Fox is a garbage fire of a network. People shit on ESPN but at least they still have some standards. Fox is literally throwing away its journalism to go all in on the Skip Bayless types :L
I'm guessing at this point, they're in with the "any attention is good attention" credo.

I just wish that the Waltrip's were two of the people they canned. Both of their heads are so far up Brian France's ass that they know what he ate a week ago. They can't be gone soon enough.

Darrell looks rough these days and nobody annoys me more than Michael Waltrip.

As much as I hate to admit it, I actually like Jeff Gordon as a commentator though.

Well both networks (Fox and NBC) are throwing tons of money at Junior so maybe if FOX wins out, they'll send DW off to the retirement home. A 4 man booth will be kind of crowded.

One can only hope. He should've been Old Yeller'd years ago.

I think the racing itself this year has been some of the best we have seen in years. No, the stage racing isn't ideal. I know the stage racing isn't what you would think of when someone mentions a race, but I like that we have essentially ended the races where 1 car dominates all day.

I hate the fact that stage racing is getting credit for "better racing" when in fact it was the aero package changes that's been made the last 2.5 to 3 years, allowing the cars to pass and race side by side. Lots of engineers put in hours to finally get a good package out there and its overlooked for some cheap gimmick.
