This board has been dormant for some time and hopefully we get back on here folks. Anyway, what is going on with our basketball program? Thad seems to have lost control of his program. How has Gene Smith not fired him yet? I can't believe not long ago, the Buckeye hoops was among the top programs in the B1G. Thoughts?

Part of me still wants to give him the benefit of the doubt but man, more and more shit keeps happening. It was painful to watch that team last year and this year could possibly be worse. Unless Smith plans on giving him a really long leash then you might as well fire him cause this thing ain't fixing itself in a season or two.

Its just crazy how quickly it all came about

ctly. I honestly think Thad can't fix this mess. I think to much has happened and he won't be able to geth this program back. I think change needs to happen... and quickly.

Welp Thad is out. Probably for the best. Hold nothing against him, I thoroughly enjoyed being an Ohio State basketball fan for the majority of his time so good luck to wherever he goes from here. Now Gene open up the checkbook and get someone in here that can get this recruiting cycle back on track. (Sean Miller?)

Now ay will Sean Miller leave his gig. I heard from somewhere( cant remember) that the next coach may be from the NBA?? The timing is bizarre. I posted this thread back when they should have done something then, why now?

Think they still wanted to salvage but recruiting has been tanking an I think Gene could no longer deny the writing on the wall. Thad wasn't fixing this
