Brought a group of people with different backgrounds and experiences to gather info...

One person on this board that I called out earlier on this for thinking Mauzey was a mediocre coach......needs to own up on how wrong he is on Mauzey and realize we couldn't have a better coach for Baseball.

You're right. Shane has done a fine job with the baseball program. Luck spent too much money and has allowed beer in the stadiums.

I guess Shane should receive credit for keeping the mediocre coach on the payroll...

Well, you know there are some that feel everybody should get a participation award. Hate to burst the bubble of a disillusioned poster. He has feelings too. Sometimes too much, but has them nonetheless.

So... WVU earns its first ever at-large bid to the NCAA Regionals... and, there is nothing!

Well... for all of you diehard WVU fans, our mediocre HC lead his boys to a big win yesterday defeating Maryland 9-1.

C'mon man. We ain't no baseball school, let alone town. We only follow the Rifle team because of all their NCs. Basketball because of our future HOF HC. Don't matter that we can't advance past the round of 16. And football, because everybody watches football and therefore we can criticize the program because of the HC. We need to bring back Billy ball. We need to join the MAC or D3 and feel good about going 9-4. But hey, we won the conference.

Team lost a tough one last night. Jumped out to a 3-0 lead, but was shut down by the 1 seed in walk-off fashion.

First time WVU has played in a Regional Final since 1982. Who was the AD who fired a true mediocre HC... Van Zant... to make way for Mazey?

Luck may have hired Mazey, but it was Lyin' Shane Lyons who the baseball program into what it is today. Just like he did with football. Must be taking charge now that he has made Dana a successful coach. Can't wait for basketball. Maybe he can get us past the round of 16.
