The rankings consist of not only wins and losses but how the program is perceived by the public. Recent accomplishments, uniforms, helmets and the overall prestige since the original list was created in 2012

I'm perfectly fine with Nebraska not being in the "King's" category. Especially with recruits today who weren't even born the last time Nebraska had even won a conference championship.

However I find it interesting that Nebraska has dropped out of the King's since 2012 but Michigan and Penn State have remained. Since 2012:

Nebraska 43-23
Michigan 40-24
Penn State 40-24

I'm guessing Michigan remains mostly because of the "Harbaugh effect"

Penn State has had a worse record than Nebraska and their prestige consists of still recovering from nearly getting the death penalty for molesting a bunch of boys in a shower.

Or perhaps what this says that the Nebraska "brand" has fallen more than anything else

This must go back 20 years I'm guessing because Oregon hasn't accomplished sh1t compared to Washington's program which btw is the most valuable program in the PAC money wise.

The original list was created in 2007, revisited and updated in 2012 and now again in 2017. So the list is 10 years old and in the last 5 years he has seen enough to remove Nebraska from the top tier.

Again, I think it says more about the Nebraska brand than anything on-the field, or off the field, or in the showers in Penn State's case.

More like this was made up by Howie Mandel because it represents some sort of joke. How can North Carolina be in any sort of hierarchy? Hell, Duke has more ACC Championships than they do.

Are you drunk right now? You gotta be joking w/ this comment. Just going back to 2000 Oregon has only 1 losing season, last year. And since 2000 the Ducks have won double digit games 10 times. Now your Huskies on the other hand since 2000 have only won double digit games once, last year. And in that time frame Washington has had 6 losing seasons & they also went 0-12 in '08.

Since 2000 Oregon is 13-3 vs. Washington. The Ducks before last year beat the Huskies 12 years in a row. And only once (2015) was that game decided by fewer than 17 points.

Like Nebraska, Miami has done shit since their days in the 80's and 90's and is 39-25 since 2012 yet they still remain.

Must just be because it's "Thug U". Again, branding

Washington has natty's, finished 3rd in the nation in 2000, has more wins than Oregon, leads the head to head series, has the second most conference championships next to USC, has more Rose Bowl wins than anyone in the PAC not named USC, most bowl appearances in the conference other than USC, etc, etc ...

Agreed though that Oregon has owned it up in the past two decades. I'm not arguing that.

Could it be those other schools were more secure in their Kingliness than Nebraska was, which also "hasn't done shit since their days in the 80's and 90's"?

Stop lying. The Huskies don't have Natty's. They spilt the title w/ The U back in '91. So since you insist that Washington has multiple Natty's exactly which years other than '91 did they win it all?

Washington has several undefeated seasons and although the natty's weren't from the AP they have fvking natty's. Don't go tell me about UW football.

That's what I'm trying to figure out. Again, I'm not upset with Nebraska not being included. I guess I'm just trying to figure out what has kept Penn State, Michigan and Miami more "prestigious" in the last 10 years than Nebraska?

Well you obviously don't know very much about Huskies football. Looking @ their year by year history they have ONLY ONE undefeated season, in '91. Before '91 the closest they got to an undefeated season was 6-0-1...in 1916. So you wanna stop making shit up?
