Nunez was scratched, hamstring injury. Arroyo in, batting 8th. No one thinks it's serious though, so I doubt he's going on the DL, though it certainly would help things.

Bochy isn't ruling out Arroyo getting sent down. But he's praising his approach and defense

It's been a long time (ever?) since I've seen Crawford struggle with a pop up. Looks like he had no clue where either of those sun balls were.

Arroyo was all over both though.

Frustrating game. Giants are hitting line drives all over the place right to gloves, can only get 1 run off Butler, who's probably done.

edit: and of course, the Cubs have like 3 hard hit balls and 2 homeruns.

I am not watching, and hardly listening. But this makes it sound like it us just one of those 60 Ls that you just gotta wear each year. Can't really read anything into it outside of "that's baseball"...

Assuming we lose this game (HUGE assumption, the game is close and it is still early), we had a 3-4 roady to StL and ChC. I am good with that.
