Well, this could be ugly... The Tigers play a night game in Houston today, probably get into Chicago at 3 AM on Friday, then have to play a doubleheader that same day. Meanwhile, the Chisox have a day off today.

Then there's the fact that the Tigers are starting Buck Farmer in the early game Friday. Yuck.

August of 2015 we had an even more impressive 4 game sweep.

Tell us doug...did you have a football scholarship to UM? Were you recruited...if so, out of what school? Or were you a walk on? My bet is that you've never been anywhere near a UM football facility - without a ticket in your hand.

Doug was all set to go and probably would have played as a freshman. But he also had a summer gig playing semi-pro baseball and it cost him his eligibility.

I can picture how it all went down. Bo tells doug that Morris barely beat him out for a spot on the varsity (am assuming doug was too good for any freshmen team, even then). Of course, instead of Bo telling this very good running back (doug) to rehab the knee and continue to work with the trainers....he just tells him to fuck off and get off the field!
Come on....I've must have heard a hundred if I've heard one of these "drunk at a bar" stories. Different sports, even different occupations, but always the same.

Doug...your Bo/Morris/knee story isn't even close to the best I ever heard of these "I almost...." stories. One raggedy clothed bozo once told me (with can of beer held firmly in his hand) that he was, at one time, going to be named Plant Manager of a Ford auto plant - "but his alarm didn't go off that morning" , so.........
My response was, "So you decided to go into Laundromat management instead?"
