Red Byron, Ray Evernham, Ron Hornaday, Ken Squier and Robert Yates headed into the HOF.

They're just letting anyone in if they're putting Ron Hornaday in. No one gives a shit about the Truck series. Congrats! You won multiple championships because more talented drivers moved on! I know they've got Modified drivers in but at least that is its own separate (often ignored) branch of NASCAR.

Nice to see the "3" but not that little fuckhead driver. He gets the win on fuel mileage not talent.

The only way it would have been worse if Little Miss IRL had been the one to steal the win on fuel mileage. I can't stand Childress' grandbrats. Granted, I can't stand like 85% of the drivers out there today, which is part of the reason I don't watch much anymore.

What exactly is wrong with winning on fuel mileage?

I for one enjoy when a driver steals a win with strategy when he doesn't have a car capable of winning.

He's a Truck and Busch series champion, so he's not some talentless hack.

I'm still an RCR fan at heart, so anytime one of his drivers can get a win, I'm happy.

Kind of a shame that a likeable guy like Kenseth is teammates with two ass hats like Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin.

Exactly. I'm not a Dillon fan at all, but he earned that win fair and square. He stayed out of trouble for 600 miles and made his way to the front when it mattered the most.

And he was running in the top 10 pretty much the entire race. If you get down to it, he's probably my second favorite driver simply because of the car he drives(that car is the reason I immediately became a Kevin Harvick fan after Dale Sr died and why I never was a Dale Jr fan).

Dillon brothers are from the Winston-Salem/Greensboro area, so until they have their NASCAR heel turn, I'll be fans of them.

RCR's base is here as well. Pretty sure the community college in Winston-Salem has an "RCR" major. Not sure if the one in Greensboro has one.

I think Ty needed a couple more years in the Busch Series, but I think Austin is a good driver who will wind up winning several races in his career.

Before anyone writes him off, they might want to look at Brad Keselowski's career trajectory. An also ran for a few years in the Cup series, despite being very successful in the Busch series, and then had a breakout season at age 27 when I was one of the few that believed he would be a future championship contender(and I only said that because I'm a MOPAR man and he and Kurt Busch were the only two Dodges in the field).

Might wanna ask Jimmie Johnson and Kevin Harvick about Hornaday's influence, and HOF worthiness.

James: Welcome to Camp Hornaday
