Who is your X? The go-to and split end, your Z, the quick speedy player, and Y, the slot.

It's not as clear cut as 2015's construction.

1. AJ Green is the all pro receiver, that's a no brainer
2. Brandon Lafell is the crappy #2 that won't do shit.
3. Boyd is the sometimes #2 and 3rd down slot
4. Ross is the wildcard and speedy player. The limitations of the Bengals coaching staff imagination and playbook learning will limit his play.
Eifert (TE) will play a roll when he's not injured, which will be rare.

I know Marvin doesn't like to give too much to rookies, but come on. Ross has to be the #2. And Boyd should be #3. He's better than LaFell.

they won't make Ross the #2 right out of the gate, especially not when they are so high on Lafell's experience and Boyd's upward potential.

Ross will make some Chris Henry like appearances.
he won't be thrown into the fire like AJ Green.

although, I'm pretty certain, they drafted him to be the #2 long term.

at the moment, there is some concern that he has had some knee problems and is currently recovering from offseason shoulder surgery.
