No, Colorado State would probably crush Rutgers.

What's with Washington playing FCS Montana?
Good question. UW never played an FCS team until Sark took over and he wanted to imitate SEC scheduling. Washington fans hate it.

Stupid Sark, for a long time UW was one of the few schools never to play a 1AA. And UW played a mean like that series against Miami, it was fantastic.

Gee
Oklahoma State is ranked #1 hard for the Big XII because
They play Pitt and South Alabama on the road/WTF
Begin play with a tough Tulsa team/again, see WTF
Play West Virginia and Texas on the road in back to back weeks/so the fuck what/grow some balls.

And they rank Oklahoma low because "Oklahoma can't play Oklahoma".
That's just fucking stupid.

I don't really pay much attention to SOS because when you have the brand name it doesn't really matter that much especially when you have a "Big Boy" on the schedule, and have had someone of note on the schedule from the beginning of time until now.

Ten college football games with the highest stakes in 2017
1. Oklahoma Sooners at Ohio State Buckeyes, Sept. 9
What's at stake: This clash will appear on any preseason list of big games, but there's more at stake for both teams than potential playoff positioning. Oklahoma still must prove it can do more than win a weakened Big 12. The Sooners' 21-point home loss to the Buckeyes effectively eliminated them from national-title contention last September. Although the Sooners improved throughout the season and played their best, especially on defense, down the stretch, they won't be taken seriously without a solid showing in Columbus. Ohio State's offensive showcase in Norman seems like a long time ago after the unit struggled in the second half last season and flatlined in a 31-0 loss to Clemson in the CFP semifinal. There are questions about QB J.T. Barrett, and an offense that must show up on its home field.

...and SOS is even more useless at the beginning of the year. No one knows how each team's season will play out. Ex...Last year Texas was given too much credit early in the season for beating Notre Dame. BFD... Didn't look too good at the end of the season.

That's what I always say
at the beginning of last year a schedule with Oregon, Notre Dame and Michigan State would have got people excited while having Colorado, Washington and Kansas State would have barely got some people interested. in the end it was the second group that did much better.

Ive hated UTEP since Donald Buckram amassed 1500 in 09 so I thought UTEP could ride him in 2010 to a conference title but he got hurt and made me look like I had no idea what I was talking about.

That was a bummer. We'll never be better than mediocre at best...until we can have some depth. We can't afford any injuries of players kicked off for off field issues. Truly just one deep...if that.
