When you draft a guy in the first round and you have to be concerned whether he is going to be suspended all the time because he can't avoid smoking down, it could hurt the team severely as opposed to drafting someone who will play 95% of the games.

That being said, hopefully this causes enough fear that he drops to the Lions.

The NFL rules on weed are counterproductive and push athletes towards much worse "legal" alternatives.
