Playing 4 away OCC games in twelve years is how it works? Bama hasn't been offered any more? LOL. This is hilarious. USC does that in three years sometimes.
USC is a big time program. They choose to go play home and homes with other P5 teams. Alabama just doesn't . USC would have gladly not played in Jerry world and done a home and home. Alabama would just walk away from that. I watch USC play live at least five time a year. This year i go to South Bend for the Notre Dame game. I've actually seen Alabama play. You watch on TV . I wouldn't trade places with you when it comes to college football.

So you speak for USC and you happen to know what goes on in the AD personally? Because it sounds to me like you are just making up shit.

On the other hand, Saban and those in the AD have said exactly. We had a home and home scheduled with Michigan St. We dropped the game because we were offered a neutral site game, which ended up being the games against USC last year and Florida St this year.

So yes, when Alabama is offered the sites, they take it. And when they aren't offered, we'll schedule home and homes. And I'm sure this is the case because...they have said so directly.

And contrary to what you seem to believe, watching on TV IS actually seeing them play. And not only is it actually seeing them play - it's a better experience for free(usually). But by all means, keep going to those games, paying that money to sit around a bunch of other people while you watch the jumbotron to see what happened if it makes you feel better. I'll sit at home, comfortable as fuck, get a little pussy during halftime if I want, smoke a big fatty while I watch rather than paying $10 for a draft beer, use the bathroom that I don't have to wait in a long ass line to use only to have it assault my nose, and eat some smoked ribs(usually) that I didn't pay 5 times too much for. At best I'm missing out on some stadium nachos, but I have a Sams Club membership, I can make that happen.

You have three other spots to schedule at least one home and home you dunce, and Alabama in every season after playing at Penn state six years ago has yet to schedule even one road OCC game . USC has a game every year with Notre Dame and still manages to schedule home and homes (this year with Texas).
I bet you watch pron instead of getting laid too huh. You'd have to get your fat ass out of that chair you seem to be stuck in. And your poor cat.

Yeah I'm sure you're banging some hot chick who likes guys who might go to a game against Mercer ( if they ever go) because the price might be better. I'm sure you've got a hottie loving that. lol
Face it . Alabama football is what defines you. That's all you got, thats why you defend that shitty scheduling and couldn't care less how many Mercers they play.

Bama played the top 2 Pac schools and won 80-13. I imagine Mercer will definitely put up better numbers.

Nice story, but mostly untrue. Alabama already had a black guy on the team before the game.

It's funny that he calls the differences enormous when in fact they wouldn't have any effect on who got into the playoffs(which he goes so far as to call a farce with the current system). He's trying to push a narrative sadly, highlighted by him using the maximum numbers possible and never even considering the other possibilities.

And it's based on using the worst(although I will say most commonly used) SoS method out there. Most people in the statistical know of college football rely on more advanced stats that don't see all 10-2 teams as being equal.

But at any rate - if it's such a shitty schedule, and if you Pac12 folks think it's bad for your conference - then fucking change it. Stop asking everyone else to make your same fuck up. It doesn't lead to better football, it certainly doesn't lead to better statistics and information(it regionalizes the game more which sucks and is stupid, need more national OOC games).

Your conference made this choice.

Or keep using it as your scapegoat as to why your conference got killed by Alabama last year I guess.

Yes, you do "a little [sic]research"..... very little research. This discussion is about OOC AWAY games over the past 81 seasons where "your" team travels less than 1000 miles to play. YOUR team has played exactly 8 away games over the past 81 seasons that were within 1000 miles of LA (mainly because there are few good teams that are within 1000 miles of LA that aren't IN the PAC).
Colorado 2 times and they were ranked 1 time
San Diego Navy 2 times
San Francisco 1 time
Texas Tech 1 time
San Diego St. 1 time
BYU 1 time

Total 8 games and the opponent was ranked 1 time.

UF has played
Miami (FL) 28 times and they were ranked 5 times
Florida St. 27 times and they were ranked 17 times
Rice 5 times and they were ranked 3 times
Tampa 3 times
N.C. State 3 times and they were ranked 1 time
Maryland 3 times
Tulane 2 times
Georgia Tech 2 times
Villanova 2 times
South Carolina 2 times
North Carolina 2 times and they were ranked 1 time
Memphis 1 time
Furman 1 time
Tulsa 1 time
Northwestern 1 time
Jacksonville NAS 1 time
Houston 1 time and they were ranked 1 time
U.S. Amphibians 1 time
Texas 1 time
Temple 1 time
Syracuse 1 time and they were ranked 1 time

Total 89 games and the opponent was ranked 29 times.

So the Pac schedules home and home. SEC doesn't travel and schedules more FCS teams. Got it.

First of all , fuck the past 81 seasons. You do that to dilute the truth. You gave me your list some time back and I found you haven't played any of those teams at their house in the past three decades. So now you bring out "in the past 81 seasons. lol. So i'm supposed to be imressed with what Florida did in 1944? lol.
The truth is while Ive been a fan USC ( since Robinsons first year) has gone to many tough OCC houses to play. If we just go back to 2000 till now USC has gone to many P5 teams for home and homes. Florida? Nothing that resembles having any balls. Its home OCC games against LA tech and Charleston southern type teams and lately a neutral game . You take away Notre dame from USC schedule and Florida State because they always play them they still schedule other P5 programs in home and homes like Texas this year and next.
Florida? Well if it wan't for playing Miami (wow you went so far.lol) once around 2007 and another time around 2003 , Florida since 2002 has NO OTHER away games against any other team not in the SEC. None , nada. No wonder you want skip anything from 2000 till now and go back to 1945. lol
