Taking things out of context again. Go back and re-read my posts. I never questioned resting them, I questioned when they chose to do it.

Now, try again, this time without taking what I posted out of context and make sure you apologize. You've been warned too many times about this shit.

If these teams want to rest players then tickets must remain the same price for every team. Don't overcharge the fans for top teams who players may decide they're too tired to play

It's a slippery slope though. I'm all for the fans recouping their money, but no one's going to offer refunds if there's a season ending injury to one of their players. I don't see any plausible way to enforce this to make teams have to pay back the fans.

One way around this is for teams to have significant promotional items they can give away to fans on that particular night. If say the Warriors decided to rest Steph and Draymond, they could offer the first 10,000 fans food vouchers or something similar.

The problem with this becomes that most teams elect to rest their players on the road and not at home. So how do say the Nuggets fans deal with Lebron and Kyrie resting. It's not their fault that fans paid at their arena are upset.

Or the fans could do what i do. Just stop going to games. I have not looked at basketball tickets in about 2 years and i live 15 minutes from one arena and 35 from the other

Makes zero sense. If you are going to rest them, you either rest them both games or the game against the bad team that is only televised on that teams channel. Not against a playoff team in a nationally televised game.

BSpn made the claim earlier today that getting a win over the Lakers is better than getting a win over the Clippers...

hey, just passing it on...:D

when Harden and Westbrook have played until June for 6 straight seasons maybe they will have earned that right.

I just love the hypocrisy of the league. lol. LeBron is their meal ticket in the playoffs every spring- and somehow him resting 5 games so far is going to hurt them?

ya know what actually would hurt them? If LeBron suffered a serious injury because of fatigue and there playoff viewership tanked. Seemsa little more important to me then a Saturday night game vs. the Clips when just about every basketball fan was watching the Tourney anyway.
The problem here is he's not only committed to play in the playoffs- unless he's gotten a special deal than EVERY other star in the league.

Quite honestly we're only talking about him resting during a Saturday night prime time game- and against a playoff team. But I don't think they should be resting AT ALL. I think the league should address the rest issues for teams by shortening the season & eliminating back to back games.

What does that have to do w/ the fact Steph sat during a nationally televised game? Oh yeah, nothing. Trojanfan12 asked me to name another superstar that sat during a nationally televised game vs. a playoff team. So I answered him.

I dont care what the Cavs did, but there is a big difference.
Cavs didnt play the previous day.
Look at the Warriors schedule for the 10 days leading up to the Spurs game.

so - what term are you comfortable with....

just for the sake of clarity- i dont think a potential Heat/Cavs series would go past 5 games. You do think it will go past 5 games. IF the series goes 6 games or longer you win. If it goes 5 or shorter I win- (unless the heat win in 4 or 5 games of course- then you win, lol)

i dunno- 2 week avatar bet? any SportsHoopla bookie cash? any suggestions? if the Heat have any injuries to any of their major players between now and then and those guys dont play in the series- you can void it.

I wouldnt hold you to a bet if Dragic broke his leg tomorrow obviously.

2 week avi is fine.
Dragic, Whiteside, Waiters and both Johnsons need to play game 1.
I said that before Waiters got hurt if you look back.
