Wow, total melt down. I shut the game off when it was very quickly 4-0 in the 2nd. Again, a lesser win/loss team puts a beaten on the Lightning. This is why I say the coach is a big problem. How do you beat teams better than you and come in soft against a team with a record worse than yours? Chomp chomp giggle giggle, no answer to this question

Bloody hell guys! Wasn't this team due a game like this? This team has played it's best hockey all season long based of it's record with a bunch of kids in the lineup. Aren't they on a 14-3-3 run and with the recent trades/injuries it's safe to say this team has been over achieving based on players our playing out of position, Point on the 1st line, Gourde on the 2nd line, McKegg, Dumont & Brown isn't a 3rd line and Witkowski playing as a forward, really? That's how depleted our team is currently. Yet despite all these players playing out of their depth they have found a way to win, credit cooper and the coaching staff for that.

Bolt I have a lot of respect for you man but I don't understand you at all about the golaie situation. Gudlevskis has looked good when in a bolt uniform but the guy has been a medicore AHL goalie at best and hence why Yzerman moved Wilcox at the deadline for a #1 AHL goalie. In terms of Vasi hasn't he been the backbone of this team recently? He's way passed the AHL level dude, he's currently in trasition mode from fringe starter to being a regular #1 in the NHL and he has elite potential. So he had a bad game last night but don't the elite goalies have bad games? he was due one as well after his resent stellar play. The guy needs to play as much as possible so he can learn and develop and there will be times where you think who was Ben Bishop? but there will be other times were he will struggle but as time goes on and the more experience he gets you will see more of the better performances and less of the bad ones.

Stevie Y should have kept Bishop to insure making the playoffs.

Vasi will be an elite goalie no doubt about it bolt. The Kid is good now and he's only 22. Sure he has his inconsistency at times but as he gets more experience, the less inconsistency will creep into his game. I'm sorry bolt but since the trade you can't really fault Vasi's play and I don't think Bish could of played any better. At the end of the day they were going to lose a very good goalie for nothing and they got a prospect with top 4 potential who they have obviously had their eye on as the lighting have a couple prospects on that Erie Otters team and who knows what a 3rd round pick could turn out, could be a bust but could be another Braydon Point. At the end the more picks the better, the more opportunities to continue to improve your team going forward

I don't know about you guys but when I think of "elite" and goalies, the names pop into my mind. Names like Roy, Hasek, Cujo, Brodeur and few others. I am not sure if I'd place Bishop, Nikolai or any Lightning goalies in this category and I know damn well Vasi does not fit there either. Maybe a good goalie one day but I struggle to see the likes of Brodeur or Roy in him. And if you think any of the past Lightning goalies fit into "elite" status, than you are making "elite" cheap! Period

I'm don't mean elite goalies off all time I mean a top 5 goalie in the league for instance currently it would be Price, Holtby, Quick, Crawford & Bobrovsky in my opinion.
