Makes zero sense. If you are going to rest them, you either rest them both games or the game against the bad team that is only televised on that teams channel. Not against a playoff team in a nationally televised game.
i mean- its obvious they rested Love and Kyrie so they would have 2 complete off days before playing again- and considering Love returned from surgery early and Kyrie left the Jazz game with a knee issue- id think the Cavs training staff did the right thing- i mean- who knows more about those guys than the Cavs training staff?. If it was switched and the Clippers were Sunday night and the Lakers were Saturday night - they would have still rested the guys Saturday.

I mean- Cavs were playing 6 games in 9 nights.....everyone knew they were gonna rest the guys at some point- it just so happened Saturday was the game that made the most sense becuase of the circumstances.

Oh, and that "fantastic job Griffin did" also included drafting Anthony Bennett.

Probably.

But, banging her would be like throwing a hot dog down a wide hallway.

when Harden and Westbrook have played until June for 6 straight seasons maybe they will have earned that right.

I just love the hypocrisy of the league. lol. LeBron is their meal ticket in the playoffs every spring- and somehow him resting 5 games so far is going to hurt them?

ya know what actually would hurt them? If LeBron suffered a serious injury because of fatigue and there playoff viewership tanked. Seemsa little more important to me then a Saturday night game vs. the Clips when just about every basketball fan was watching the Tourney anyway.

Once again, you win stupidest post of the day. Congrats!! :thumb:

You already won stupidest post of the day...again. Guess you wanted to make sure though.

And the '72 Lakers played 4 sets of back to back to back games during their 33 game win streak with a starting lineup that had 3 players who were 30 and older and won every one of those games.

Lebron, Kyrie and Love are fags.

an insult with zero backup- gotta say- if nothing else- you are consistent.

I've already pointed out what was wrong with what the Cavs did. Your inability to understand it, doesn't mean it hasn't been explained. It just means you're too stupid to grasp it.

It doesnt surprise me an old guy is resistant to science and the progression of the modern game. Some teams are just ahead of the curve- while others lag behind and refuse to embrace the statistical revolution that is changing sports as we know it. Its not up for debate- resting players and avoiding back to backs makes players more effective and lessens the risk of injury. If certain people want to stick their head into the sand and ignore that fact and romanticize the "good old days" that will never return i suppose that is their business.

Im just glad that the Cavs learned lessons from the Spurs treatment and Duncan and the Lakers treatment of Kobe- and that they are applying those lessons to get the most out of their once-in-a-generation talent.

the more LeBron rests- the longer his career will be- and the more ready he is for the playoffs. I can see why non-Cleveland fans wouldnt like it. Im just glad Gilbert listens to his-highly paid consultants and doesnt care what anyone outside The Land thinks.

Taking things out of context again. Go back and re-read my posts. I never questioned resting them, I questioned when they chose to do it.

Now, try again, this time without taking what I posted out of context and make sure you apologize. You've been warned too many times about this shit.

So, you can't read then? What other superstars that aren't old guys are resting during nationally televised games vs. playoff teams?

What other superstars, while perfectly healthy, are on the bench drinking coffee, laughing and joking around while their teammates are getting beat by 30?

How many games has Westbrook rested this year? Or Harden?

It's really not that hard to figure out.

What other superstar rested during a nationally televised game...how about Steph on 3/11 when the Warriors played @ San Antonio?

Yeah....I expected the Cavs to rest them against the lowly Lakers.

If these teams want to rest players then tickets must remain the same price for every team. Don't overcharge the fans for top teams who players may decide they're too tired to play

Pop was resting old guys like Timmy and Manu. Not guys in their 20's and early 30's. Nice try. But fail.

Leonard and Kyrie have both sat 7 times this year. Most were random days of "did not dress" or "not with team".

Bennett was drafted by Grant -- not Griffin.

In his first draft, Griffin took Wiggins.

if they played the Lakers on saturday they would have

they wanted Kyrie and Love to have an extra day off before they played again.

there would have been no point to resting them sunday. they have Monday and Tuesday off- 2 days-

they didnt need Sunday, Monday, Tuesday to get ready for the nuggets----

they didnt want Kyrie to play so soon after hurting his knee- and they didnt want Love to play so soon after coming back from knee surgery.

i seriously have no clue why this is so hard to comprehend.

How many times will Westbrook try to rub his nads in Zsa Zsa's face and do the Warriors win by 20?
