Just read that Tom Brady's SB LI jersey was found. An international sports reporter apparently took it. He either was from Mexico or pawned it in Mexico. Also found a TB jersey from the Seattle SB game. Another reason for Trump to build the wall? Maybe the NFL should cancel the Raiders-Patriots game in Mexico City in retribution. Oh wait, that would mean a loss of revenue. Bad idea.

Maybe the NFL should ensure their security detail actually provides security.

About time they caught that guy. Man sounds like he has been impressive at his ability to steal NFL merchandise.

He's apparently been doing it for years.

He knows the routines immediately following the game. He knows that people are assigned to take personal items and uniforms to the locker room. He has credentials hanging around his neck and looks the part. He probably actually writes something since he's a director of his newspaper. Hang around outside the locker room, watch what's being brought in, have a bag sitting in the room. The people run in and drop off the stuff and run back out. The trheif runs into the room, rummages through everything and grabs whatever he can from the game MVP.
As the crowd starts to move in, everyone is so wrapped up in their own celebration, he's just another media guy with a camera bag or laptop bag and he acts like he has trouble with English and just walks away. By the time anyone notices anything, he's back at his hotel packing to leave for Mexico.

What does that tell you?? Time for the NFL and the teams to have security in the locker room. New Rule.....
During and after the game, the locker rooms are OFF LIMITS to anyone other than TEAM personnel. That's coaches, players and team equipment or technical people. If I was the owner, it would be coaches, players and ME only. Screw everyone else until guys were showered, cleaned up and done patting each other on the back. Then the trainers and everyone else could come in.

LOL I wouldn't trust NFL Security to hold my place in the checkout line at the grocery store.

Saw the whole report on this with film. He may have been doing this for a while but catching him was simple. He was on camera left and right.

Idiot.

I'm actually shocked with that many cameras present that it took until middle of March to catch this guy. Figured this would be a turn on a few tapes from people who were recording and a "oh yup there is our guy." Maybe it took so long because of the whole international issues and having to get the government of another country to cooperate with the US.

Yes, that's likely the reason why it was complicated.

I have zero experience at analyzing film evidence but on the first run-through of the footage I saw, I would immediately ask hey, who the fuck is that dude? He stuck out like a winning bet in Handicapper's ledger.
